Here is a very nice Classic Z28 Camaro. This Is a very clean Car ,Built right. Subframe connecters Full header exhaust, with Cut outs, for the Strip I tried to show some of the details where these cars get rusty.....very nice only surface rust. there is no head liner installed, and some details around the dash could be replaced....like the instrument cluster bezel..chipped corner Dash looks good....glovebox door is missing.I think this is where the amp was residing., missing door sill plates.....All in all this is a pretty clean car that can be detailed with a few parts off Ebay it self. These parts that are missing are very reasonably priced on ebay.update to this original listing...detail parts are in the trunk...atleast the doorsill plates for sure. I purchased this car from a buddy who had some hardships----so most of what I know is from a observation stand point. The motor Has been beefed up...but to what extent i am not sure...so I don't want to speculate. I know it is a bigger bore than a 350,has a rough idel,,and hauls balls! I can locate the builder and get details i a day or two---Look for updates. rear tires are 50 series, decent tread. any questions feel free to ask.....some help with trans port is available.....going to Ohio Kentucky Area soon ,if that helps My buddy wanted $6500 for this car,due to all the Mods. I am willing to take offers or some trades and my starting bid is only going to be best offer as I am sure It will bring a decent price...Can be seen and heard Test driven.for sale locally ,so get your offers in@!Like to get a decent bike out of the deal,or Atv.....Fast Toys are a plus!! On Aug-26-08 at 08:37:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on Motor specs. Motor bored .030 over performance cam, New Holly Carb.$400 Heads were ported and polished and fitted with 2.02 intake valves High compression pistons( explains the rough idle,on regular 87 octane ,plus cam) new bottom end(crank bearings, high volume oil pump) And there was mention of it being a stroker motor...If this is true then it must be a 400 crank making it a 383cu.in. supposedly 5 grand into the motor,as I was told. I will get back hold of my friend and see if he can write down the specifics,as it came through him and I dont have details ,like what the compression is, or the cam duration,or if they are real camel hump heads, or rebuilt 194's This info came from the builder ,through my friend, and at this point I still have no lagit. way of verifying these details with out taking it apart...as stated I still Don't know unless I see the build sheet with actual serial numbers ,and as such can not represent this information as being factual.I do not lie or play games,I just want to be fair and pass this information along as I get it. Also...Shift kit ,in tranny(rebuilt) with an after market converter..I believe this from the way it feels, good firm shifts. And rear end? no mention...other than it has broke both tires loose, when I was moving it around the driveway...posi? spool? dont know,I haven't beat on the car, just a couple test drives,,,and yes it Goes!and I like it.((((( a 12 bolt,If I counted correctly)))) I counted in correctly...It is a 10 bolt for sure! And Most importantly!!!! Pay attention here ..I have just physically tapped on all the spots you would expect some bondo...I found NONE....this is got to be one of the cleanest 78 z28's around. all tink tink metal metal...very nice!Later I will get the numbers off the motor ,for all you motor heads interested in the details..got to say I just brought this car to my shop, and on the trailer you can see everything.Very Nice, I want to do a complete frame paint.its so clean all it needs is detailing. And a stainless exhaust,I hate seeing a rusty exhaust(surface) Oh and there is a back seat.kinda custom, with a half back. And why these 50 series tires sit so nice under the wheel wells is,got me thinking still...I put some on a similiar car and the stuck out and would rub...but not here..So? Some investigating is still in order. Has a digital oil pressure gauge...thinking it was 47 -50 lbs pressure. Thats it for now..Clearly,with some attention to some of the details, and this would be a show-er/go-er .Can't find these in this condition, unless they'er 2 to 3 times as much! On Aug-26-08 at 08:46:15 PDT, seller added the following information: More Details on Craigs list http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/812014869.html Motor Casting Numbers Are 3970010..........vin is 1q87l8n58+++ motor Id is K1118CMJ with a serial #151139766===I looked it up on line an as far as I can tell the motor is from Canada Sept 18th ,and 350 4- bolt ,still unsure of year, except from a 74 to an 80....heads? couldn't find the numbers..has a exacto blade shape on the front...194's most likely hope this is usefull.Balancer does not have the notch like a 400 balancer....so 383 is unlikely, and I'm not sure if there is another way to make a stroker another way.So the investigation continues..
