You are bidding on a partly restored 1979 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro. This car was my husbands project, so I do not know a great deal about what improvements he made. He passed away in May of 2007. I will try and describe as much as I can. I ask that I get only serious bidders and inquiries, seeing that this is a very difficult thing for me to have to do. The car was bought in March of 2004, and we paid $2100 in the condition it was in. The car runs just fine. It has a brand new 350 V8 Crate motor that was installed in november of 2006. The interior is in excellent condition. The leather was very well taken care of. I know that he bought a new distributor, a 4:11 gear to put in it and whomever purchases the car can have that gear. The car is an automatic, and has an after market cd player. The car does need some body work, and i do not know the extent of that. One of the pictures shows what I am referring to. There are also some other new parts in the trunk, and no I don't know what they are. I know that he bought the crate motor from auto zone and it was around $1200. He took very good care of this car, and everything he did to it, he did a perfect job on, because that was his nature. This is a very difficult thing for me to do. But I have a toddler and it seems just totally impractical for me to keep it, when I could use the money. I can try and answer questions, but the reason I am listing this car so low, and without a reserve is because I don't know that much about it, and I know it is at least worth that much. He said that after it was restored it would be worth around $9000. But again I just don't know. The car is currently located in Atlantic Beach, Florida. It is at his parents house. The winner of the auction must make arrangements to pick it up. I will not ship the car under any circumstances. The winner must also make a non-refundable deposit of $500 into my paypal account within 48 hours of the end of auction. The winner must also pay the remaining balance and pick up the car within 7 days of the end of auction. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! The car will be " sold in as is condition ". I do not guarantee any part of this car. I am currently in California and I have the title in hand. I will fed-ex the title to my in-laws and have it there along with a bill of sale for pickup. I have contacted the DMV, and those are the only documents needed to complete the sale. Payment can be cashiers check, cash, or paypal. I will not accept a personal check. I ask again that only serious bidders contact me. I ask that people please pay attention to the sensitivity of the situation. I will do my best to answer any questions and work with you as much as possible. Thank you and Good Luck!! I can be contacted through my email at criggerl@yahoo.com.
