This is a 1977 Caprice 2 dooor coupe in excellent condition. This car was purchased at auction as a donation to the Humane Society apparently from an estate. When I bought the car I ddn't know how nice it was til I got it home. This car only has 53000 miles on it as far aas I can tell. There is a sticker on the front windscreen that says the next oil change is due at 55xxx miles and it is dated for 2004! I found two oil filters and a couple of replacement belts in the trunk along with a paper back book and a cane. That tells me that the old guy who owned the car took very good care of it and had someone else maintaining it. See the pics for yourself and email me with any other items you want to see. I'll be happy to send additional pics. The interior is just as nice as the exterior. Top color of the two tone paint was sprayed on after market but was done very well.with no over spray and paited right into the jams under the weatherstripping. Color is black over stock silver with a light blue velour interior almost as nice as new. A few small marks on the back seat back on driver's side that are hard to notice if you're not looking for them but other than that, interior is in great shape. Could use a dash pad replaced but has a factory style dash pad cover. Two small quarter size dents on the hood but, again if you're not looking they're hard to see. The rest of the body is in great shape with no damage or rust evident. All factory paint leads me to believe it has never been in any accidents. Now for the mechanical. What can I say. This car runs great. No mechanical problems at all that I have found. It had a small trans leak at the shift shaft seal and I had my tranny shop replace the seal. No more leaky leaky. This is an excellent driver as is or you could restore it very easily or an excellent start on a low rider or box project. Maybe go with a Nascar tribute build with stock car wheels and a big ol Number 3 on the door. It's your car so do with it what you will. I've put about 500 miles on it locally just cruisin around enjoying the old girl and it's just a really nice car. There is a low reserve but it is well worth the price. You would be hard pressed to find a car this nice anywhere for the money. They just don't build them like this anymore. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Happy bidding and good luck. I'll answer any questions as best I can and take additional photos if necessary.Thanks.
