66 caprice 2 door hardtop project car. The car is from Arizona it came to Michigan in 98 so it has a Michigan title, but i have proof of ins. from Arizona for the car. The car was originally a 327 car but the motor was rebuilt in it and someone swapped it with a 350. The car still has the original power glide and all the factory a/c components are intact. The body is pretty solid it has some dents and surface rust on spots and the bottom of the doors have some surface rust on them but the seams are still tight and the rust is not popping the seam apart. very fixable. The car is going to need front floor pans and a trunk pan, rockers, fenders, hood, trunk, around the trunk, and rear quarters, and frame are all solid. the pass side quarter has been worked on in the past, but all the inner wheel wells and inner quarter parts are solid. motor is a 350 and runs real nice, and holds 50 pounds of oil press when hot. trans works well also. tires are dry rotten but still hold air. brakes DO NOT work at all, holds fluid but dont work, i think they are seized up from sitting. car has been sitting on concrete since 05. interior needs seats recovered, carpet, and door panels. headliner is in good shape no tears no sags, dash pad has no cracks in it. have all the chrome for the car in the trunk. any questions call or e-mail doug (586) 648-6796 I took some pics of the cowl tag, if you can't make it out it reads : 1OC ST 66-16647 LOS 3169 BODY
