1996 9C1 Caprice
Up for sale is my 1996 9c1 caprice. It has around 144,000 miles on it, and runs great. It has the LT1 corvette engine in it, and a 4L60E automatic transmission. This car has been my daily driver for 6 years. It has many upgrades, as well as the factory police upgrades. Below you will find a List.

This car is a great cruiser on the highway, and the A/C blows ice cold. It will do 140+ MPH, so It is not for the easily entertained. These Police cars were built stout and were built to last. I run castrol synthetic oil in it, and it does not burn between oil changes.
Now for the bad. The car is 12 years old. It is time for a paint job, and by no means is the interior perfect. However, both are plenty useable. The car is not rusty, and the interior is complete. There are no holes in the seats, they just aren't shiny new. I have removed the drivers door panel to custom fiberglass my own, but have yet to get around to it. I was always going to make a SS version, and spray new paint and redo the interior in tan. Too many projects, so just want somebody else to play.
Now for the technical. As always, car is sold as is. No warranty is implied, just that I have tried to be as truthful as possible on the listing. Buyer is to arrange for pick up, or I will meet at a public location within 50 miles. If car is shipped, buyer is responsible for arranging it, and cost. However I will be happy to assist in any way possible. Please ask all questions with time to spare, and I will be happy to answer everything possible. I am sure I left something out, so just ask. Has been brought to my attention that advertising the car with a corvette engine due to the fact that they were aluminum head and 4-bolt mains is wrong . The Lt1 that is in this car is a cast head 2 bolt block, as it came from the factory. Should be noted that even without the upgrades, this car put out the same amount of toque as a 1996 corvette. Sorry for any inconvenience. I strive to be as honest as possible. Thanks Guys!!

Also wanted to mention this car has Stainless braided brake hoses, and stainless Magnaflow High Flo Catalytic converters.
