This used 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier runs and drives exceptionally well. This Cavalier is very clean and has been given a few upgrades. I'm 100% confident that this Cavalier will take you anywhere you want to go with no problems. You can drive home if you like.

Body: The body is overall in good condition but not perfect. There are some areas of light scratches and small dings. There was something spilled on the hood and left a stain. A small amount is on the right fender as pictured below. There is 4 areas of minor paint peel on the roof where there was once a bicycle rack mounted on the Cavalier top, shown in the photos below. The Cavalier once had a Sirius XM set up in it. The magnetic antenna left it's mark on the trunk, also pictured below. Most of these blemishes on the body are minor.
I found no rust on the body. The windshield has a small spot where a stone may have hit it. All other glass on this Cavalier is good, free of cracks. The exterior mirrors are good. The doors are in good operation condition, no worn hinges. Doors has the aftermarket vent shades. The taillights has been upgraded to the euro style assemblies. The headlights, turn signals, markers, brake lights, and hazard flashers are all in good cosmetic and 100% working condition. The paint is in overall good condition as it still has a good shine to it for the vehicle age.

Drive Train Handling: This Cavalier has a fuel injected 2.2L four cylinder engine. The engine runs very well and has no ticks, knocks, or smoke, and no leaks. The Cavalier reads 192247 miles, however, the engine has been replaced with another lower mile engine. The engine that is in the Cavalier now has just over 109,000 miles on it. An engine replacement was necessary because the previous engine was bad. The engine is very clean. The A/C system is in 100% operating condition, it blows cold. The engine cooling system has been refilled with new GM approved DexCool coolant. The interior heat is very good.
Computer diagnostics has been performed on this Cavalier to ensure all engine sensors are in working order. No illuminated check engine light.
This Cavalier has a new clutch kit installed. The clutch is firm and tight, no slipping.
The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly in all gears with no noise. New drive axle seals has been installed in the transmission to ensure no leaks from the transmission. New GM approved Synchromesh transmission fluid for manual transmissions has been added in the transmission.
The ABS brake system has been checked for front pad and disk wear, rear shoes and drum wear, and the ABS system has been checked for proper function. Pads and disk rotors are in very good condition. Rear brake shoes and drums are in good condition. The brakes are in excellent operating condition.
The power steering system is in excellent operational condition. Smooth easy turning in tight spots, responsive and firm steering on the open road. The Cavalier again, drives and handles very well on the road especially after the 14 tires and wheels were removed and upgraded with the 16 Z-24 alloy wheels and tires. Takes curves much better.
This Cavalier has excellent acceleration and stopping power. This Cavalier was purchased in SC which inspections are not required in that state. If your state requires inspection, this Cavalier will pass any state inspection simply because everything is in operating condition and everything is working.

Interior: This Cavalier interior is acceptably clean. The carpet may appear somewhat unclean due to excessive light. The carpet and seats has been thoroughly vacuumed. The carpet does has some signs of wear on the driver side. The all seats are in good condition. All seats are free of torn or ripped areas. The headliner, sun visors, interior trim, are in very good cosmetic condition. The dash and dash pad cover is in very good condition with no cracks and no cuts. All gage lights and gages are in working condition.
This Cavalier has cold A/C, good interior heat, dual air bags, interval wipers, factory AM/FM stereo cassette, power steering and power brakes. Does not have rear window defroster.

Tires/Wheels: This Cavalier has again been upgraded from the factory 14 steel wheels and tires to the factory Z-24 16 alloy wheels and tires. All wheels and tires are in excellent condition. Two of the 2 center caps on two of the wheels are missing though. All 4 tire tread pattern are the same. The factory spare tire, jack, and lug wrench are securely in it's compartment in the trunk area as pictured above.
