This is a 1966 Chevelle Malibu 4 door Hardtop in great condition ! The vin # is 136396k1149637 . The mileage showing on the odometer at time of listing is 52424.0 . The engine is a v8 283 . The tranny is a two speed powerglide . I have had the car inspected by a local mechanic and He tells Me # s do match. I purchased the car from a lifelong friend November 2007. I had to put a new master brake cylinder on it at time of purchase. The only other work done was one new pushrod and rocker arm . My Son who is only 17 stepped on it a little to hard while the powerglide was in shift mode and well You know what happened from there. R R done on pushrod and rocker arm as well as top end service and this car back to running strong. The car did come from factory with air conditioning . The original A/C compresser does come with the car however it now rides in the trunk and it appears to Me that it has been there for awhile . Somewhere along the way headers have been added in the exhaust system . This work seems to have been done recently as the mufflers and tail pipe are still in excellent condition. Yes it is equipped with true dual exhaust ! I am not sure if any other performance or engine upgrades have been done to this car , I can tell you that it will get You right on down the road . You wont need a trailer to get this one home . Interior is in fair condition. Seats have been reupholstered and are in great shape. Carpet seems to be as came from factory . Carpet is all there but showing its age. As far as the weather moldings go there is room for improvement but no serious faults take a close look at pics and You be the judge . Dash in good shape again look close at pics . The exteriors greatest flaws are in both rear quarters . They will both need fixed as mother time and rust have taken their toll . A few small dents and dings and some other minor rust starting to appear wich I will point out with the photos . Drivers side rear doors appears to have been repaired at one time . The car with a little tlc and paint would be one to keep forever. Unfortunately I have aquired way to many projects so I must let a few of them go .
