Vehicle Description
1963 Chevy Corvair Convertible.
This is a great RESTORATION project... I purchased the car in hopes of accomplishing a complete restoration. Now that my wife and I have a new addition to our family... I do not have the time or money (especially the money - hence this sale).
Car also comes with: extra engine lid and hood (in good condition), various lenses light trim, 4 heads 1 extra bell housing, extra hub caps, a few others misc. parts.
The photos make this car look really good -- it is a solid car BUT it also has lots of rust. If I would have restored this car - here are some of the major things I think should be done: weld in new floor pans, grind out rust holes in drivers door and front quarter panels, rebuild brake cylinders and master cylinder, weld in new battery tray, have new rear window sewn in, paint body work, replace cracked windshield, probably a basic overhaul of the engine (not siezed up). This car has been in storage (garaged) for about 22 years - I don't think it has been driven since 1985.
