1965 Corvair Monza 4 door Sedan, This Corvair was purchased in Westport Conn . The original owner passed away and a local collector bought it from the estate but just stored it for aprox. 3 years. I acquired it from him and did the following with parts from Claaks Corvair parts Inc. I installed a new fuel tank , Fuel level mechanism in tank . fuel lines and Clarks freshly rebuilt carbs. New brake cylinders and lines , 5 new tires including spare, The car had a repaint done in the 1980's it is not great but passable. I worked on this car as a winter project . For a Connecticut car it is quite solid always garaged. Typical rust issues at trim and lower body corners . I made it a good daily driver not candy. It also has a new muffler and tailpipe. Oil and Oil filter changed . Transmission fluid and filter change with new shift valve . I would say use it as it is and enjoy it. I have it registered and drive it around town daily . Here in Conn we have registrations on antique cars that are transferable with a bill of sale no title exist for cars older than 1983.Car is located in Cos Cob ,Conn in Town of Greenwich ,CT. easily located within 1 mile of I-95 exit 4 or 5 . to make an appointment to see the car call # 203 - 613 - 6950 Thank you for looking.
