Up for sale this 1986 Chevrolet Corvette, Automatic Transmission, V8 5.7 L Engine, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Air Conditioning. Interior and exterior shows signs of wear, needs work. Vehicle's engine lost 2 cylinders, cylinder # 5 and cylinder #6 Zero compression. Valve cover and rockers arms were removed and found bent push rods. An engine compression leak down test was performed and revealed compression leaking from exhaust valves. The engine was replaced with a New Factory GM Crate 5.7L V8 Part Number 10067353. Google the part number and you will see the specifications. The engine should have came with a GM Power Train warranty 3 year 100,000 miles but when we called GM they denied the claim and said this part number should have not been installed in this vehicle, ( in my opinion a bunch of bull ). The engine was installed less then 2 years ago. We have the engine invoice from Crest Chevrolet, the engine cost $1500, plus installation. The alternator was replaced 3 months ago with an A/C Delco brand. Tires are in good condition. Transmission was resealed in 2006. This vehicle is a a "Mechanic's Special". If you are considering buying this vehicle and live in California we will require you to sign a " AS IS " bill of sale no exceptions. Title is in hand ready for transfer. Car does not run. If you live out of state, please, please get a quote from a transporter before bidding and tell them engine don't start but vehicle rolls and can be pushed, steers and brakes.
