For auction is a 1998 Chevy Express cargo van, used, being sold in as is where is condition. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end for payment and pickup arrangements. A $100.00 deposit is also required within 24 hours of auction end via paypal. Any problems with this e-mail before bidding. Failure to contact me and make deposit within 24 hours of auction end will result in loss of sale, and van will be relisted. Remainder of payment and pickup of van is to be made within 10 days of auction end. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Negative bidders will be blocked.
The van was recently taken out of service from the original owner. It was bought new and was fleet maintained by the dealer or the local garage. It runs and drives very well and has tons of power. Has a 5.0 liter v-8 with automatic transmission. The transmission has less 200 miles. It was a jasper put in by the local shop. I know the front end and brakes were done not that long ago. Cruise control works. This would make a good work vehicle or delivery van. Could use some tlc or use as is. Now for the bad stuff. It does have 303,000 on the odometer and I dont have any records of what had been done to the engine. Doesn't smoke , knock, tick and has good oil pressure. The windshield has a crack in it. The seat is ripped but still comfortable. The air works when it wants to. Interior in very worn shape. The paint job is in bad shape as the letters were removed from the side and scuffed the paint. Has dings, dent and scrapes. Has rust in a few spots like under doors. The van does look a lot better in the pictures then it does in person. I encourage any and all questions before bidding to avoid problems at end of sale.
