Vehicle Description 1948 CHEVY FLEETMASTER 4 DR SEDAN This car has been stored in an old barn for over 30 years. Then in a pole barn for a few and the last year outside, I ran out of room. The guy I bought the car from got cancer knew he'd never get to the car. He didn't want the car to die too. The condition of the car is good for a 60 year old car. Yes it has rust and dents. Left rear fender has been hit by something but is repairable. I think every panel has somes dents or rust. When I got the car it was buried under things that had been piled on it. I started the engine in the car 2 yrs ago with the help of an electric fuel pump a hot wire. It also took 36 volts the starter is shot. This is not the original engine. The extra engine is suppose to be the original is seized also there is extra trans, bell housing, clutch, etc. Also, a rear end front suspension as seen in the photo. As near as I can tell all that is missing is a couple of insignias, spare tire, lug wrench jack. There are no keys either. This car has a radio clock and all gauges ash tray are in tack. Four original wheels hubcaps. Factory rubber is still on the floor, all window cranks, door handles arm rests are here. Stainless belt line trim is in very good condition. I found three obvious dents and some sanding scratches. Window trim is very good - just needs some serious polishing. Also has a rear heater that goes under the front seat. This is as complete of a discription as I can give. Any specific questions, just ask me. Chev's of the 40's has all kinds of parts for this car. Buyer responsible for picking up vehicle.
