This auction is for a great example of an Original 1966 Chevy Biscayne 4dr Sedan. This car has been painted once in the late 60's to early 70's the laquer paint does have cracking from age. All the chrome and stainless show pretty nice for it's age no rust and no dents other then maybe on small one on the front grill...The car has a 283 with only just over 66,000 miles.(I currently drive this everyday so mileage will slightly change) It has the 2 speed powerglide tranny...As you can see in the pictures the floor boards have all original paint on them with only minor surface rust here and there...The frame and floors under the car are very solid once again with only minor surface rust...NO PATCHES on the floor, trunk or frame ever The 4 doors are all in about the same condition as pictured solid NOT rotting with only minor rust on the lip that should easly clean up... The only hole in the body that currently needs to be fixed is the one on the passenger 1/4 just say the hole is about the size of a silver dollar...The other areas of the body that you see rust is on the hood and pass front door pass fender and all of it is just surface rust with no holes and is very solid should clean very easy...I put a brand new master cylinder and fuel pump on it 2 weeks ago. This car runs and drives great. you can fly in and drive it home. Everything works on this car except maybe for a burnt out bulb on one of the taillights and the washer fluid hose has a small hole in it near where it meets the pump may be able to get cut and use the same hose. If i get a chance I will try to fix both of these things but just in case I dont get to it I want it mentioned. For the interior the door panels are in very good shape and headliner aswell. The dash pad does have a split down the middle and the two bench seat have stains and tears in the cloth part the blue vynl part is in great shape and soft and all the stiching seems good so it may be possible to just replace the cloth are to save money. The carpet is old and faded but still alright and as you can tell in one of the pictures still has the original tag stapled to it same with under the rear seat has both tags and one does not even has a dirt mark on it...Glass in the car is all good all windows seem to work fine.
I have brand new brake shoes for front and rear in a box and I also have a complete front end kit that I ordered for the car that cost me $500 and that is all in the box aswell and can go with the car. I may have a few more pieces taht i can get rid of with the car like a set of inner fenders dash pieces ect... i will have to dig through my junk
I am sure I have forgotten something but mainly this car needs a paint job and the cloth part of the seats redone along with your taste of rims and this would be a great car
If you are the winner of the car I require a $150.00 non refundable deposit within 7 days the remainder to be paid before you take the car. I can be flexible on how long it take to pick up the car but please make arragements before auctions end with me
The buyer is responsible for the pick up of the car once paid for and all the costs that go with the transportation
This car has power steering and power brakes.....I also have this car listed locally and will end auction early if it sells before it meets the reserve
