Description
Very nice driver, that gets a lot of attention, clearly not an original piece. Door panels are original as well as interior trim, aftermarket package tray and headliner. Seats have been recovered in a leather/ cloth combination but retain the original seat patterns. Custom A-Pillar gauge pod with Auto Meter Gauges and columne mounted tach. Just about everything from the steering wheel forward is new.
The motor is a 305 cid with a mild cam and topped off with a Polished GM Tuned Port and GMPP Aluminum Valve covers. A 700R4 transmission, shortened drive shaft and a factory rear end – the combination gets around 20 miles to the gallon. The vacuum components for the head light system (except for the reservoir to retain the look) have been removed and converted to electric for ease of operation and maintenance.
This is a recently completed resto-mod, but by no means a perfect car, there are blemishes. However, please know I would feel very comfortable driving this car anywhere.
