Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a nice straight florida car. A 1979 malibu with 49,180 miles on the body.This car has it's original paint but is weathered by our hot florida sunshine and has spots of light surface rust where the paint has rubbed off. There are three rust holes on the body,two on the passenger side ,each about 1 inch long next to the rear side window glass ,and one the same size next to the drivers rear side window glass.The original left fender is in the trunk and was replaced with one equally as straight as the rest of the car because of a crease along it's top edge.
It has power steering and power brakes with front disc.
Inside the heat has taken it's toll,the dash is dried out and cracked,the door panels are rough and there is no back seat or carpet.The bucket seats are "fair". All of you north of florida know you can find rusted out bodies with good interiors almost everywhere."cheap". The frame is SOLID, I use to live in ohio and know these cars typically rusted out behind the rear wheels. Not this one.
The motor is a 1992 4 bolt main 454 with a fresh rebuild,high volume oil pump ,lunati .530-.542 lift and 219-262 duration cam. 1968 427 heads with 7/16 pushrods and guide plates ,a 750 edelbrock carb and hooker headers and a new summit aluminum radiator."LESS THAN 20 MILES ON THIS MOTOR!!
Backed up with a 350 turbo and the stock rearend. The trans crossmember has been notched and c-channeled for dual exhuast.
