Vehicle Description
This 1986 Monte Carlo Luxury Sport (LS) has the Euro Front End and comes with all the original papers; including the owner's manual (in good condition), a photo copy of the original window sticker, the original warranty papers and maintenance schedule. (5 books total.)
Her original 4.3 (Fuel Injected) Engine runs strong and does not leak or burn oil. Mileage is 111,669. The medium gray paint is faded in some spots, but looks ok. Body has a few minor dings, but nothing major. Only dent is in the roof (see pics). Grey interior is in near mint cond. with no stains and no dashboard cracks. Glass is mint cond.

1. Steering Column Lock - Pro Gard. (see pic) This is a theft prevention device that wraps around the steering column (with orig. box).
2. C.B. Radio - Cobra 40 Channel (with orig. box) and an external P.A. announcement speaker system (cool add on!)
3. Auto Security System - Mobile Alert with pager (system has not been used for some time, so I do not know if it still works - but all the wires/parts are incl.)
4. Tire Jack with donut (factory)
5. Locking Gasoline Cap
The following items are also being sold with the vehicle: (These items are optional - take All or None) **
1. 2 FULL Rear Quarters with Solid Trunk Body Mount area. 1 Right side and 1 Left side. Both completely solid with no rust. I was planning to install these on the car, but have no time to do so now.
2. 2 New Frame Rails (1 Right side and 1 Left side) with the parts still brand new and still in box/never been installed
3. 1 Extra Trunk Lid
4. A few assorted parts such as:
- 1 TPS Sensor (new)
- 1 Coolant Heat Sensor
- 1 Fram Air Filter (still good)
- 1 Blower motor (used)
- 1 Idle Air Valve
** If you want these extra items, you'll need a large pickup truck as these are very large/heavy pieces. **
***Please be advised that she is now 22 years old and is not perfect. The lower rear quarters of the car have been reconstructed and the original frame rails are not good (the area past the rear wheels). The rest of the frame is solid and straight. Vehicle is being sold with all the body parts necessary to completely restore it. (2 rear quarters and new frame rails) My hope is that someone will buy this car with the intent to restore - but that is up to her new owner.
No rust is visible on the body from a visual standpoint of just looking, but past rust damage has gotten the best of her lower rear quarters. The damage has been reconstructed using metal plates, and the area is solid and painted, but not original. There is a hole in the trunk area on the left side (see pics). Vehicle has passed all inspections in the past. Both doors are solid throughout with no rust. Vehicle should be ok to drive back to your home (or flatbed it - your choice). Check engine light does come on and go out from time to time, but it does not remain on. I'm thinking the oxygen sensor is way overdue for replacement and may be causing the light to trip.
Other items that may need attention:
--- Most dash light bulbs are out (car was not driven at night, so this was not a problem). The warning light bulbs do however work.
--- Wiper Washer Motor
--- Turn signal lever does not reset when making a left turn.
---Battery seems to lose power after sitting for a few weeks: Battery may need replaced soon.
--- Roof has some sheet metal damage (see pics). Not too noticeable, but there is a rippling effect that has caused the sheet metal to push down a little. This was caused many years ago when ice came down of the top of a house onto it.
---A door seal on right side
