This is a 1972 Monte Carlo that I started restoring and never finished. After buying a new home and having a baby, time and money became scarce. I have done alot of work to this car and really dont know where to start. I'm sure I'll leave some things or parts out in my description, but as I remember, i will update. I guess I'll start with the motor. It is a stock shevy 350 taken out of a 1933 ford street rod(my fathers) with a th350 auto tranmission. I stripped it down to the block and heads, cleaned and painted it with high temp paint, so everything you see on the block and heads are brand new, here's what I have put on it. 650 cfm Edelbrock performer crome carb, matching performer intake manifold, and Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers,10,00 volt hei distrbutor, starter, altenator, high volume Edelbrock fuel pump with 5/8 fuel line back to the gas tank.Water pump, flex fan, push rods , Dynamax headers, crome oil pan(with new oil pump and primer), crome tranny pan(along with new filter),motor mounts, tranny mounts, all brake lines, rebuilt front and back brakes, A-arm bushings, tie rods, u-joints shocks and springs, and differential cover (on 12 bolt rear). the frame was wire wheeled and painted black. The only thing the motor needs to be finished is plugs, wires, alt bracket, power steering pump and bracket, and fan belts. The body, which as you can see from the pictures, is off the frame, so the body work that needs to be done will be much easier to do. floor pans on the front drivers side and front passenger side need to be put in, as well as a piece of the trunk . there are no dents and a somewhat recent paint job on it, but you can tell there has been patchwork done and some more needed.(rocker panels, bottom of doors, wheel wells. I spent alot of time and effort on the chassis and was going to do the same on the body by stripping each piece down to bare metal, but the level or amount of work to be done can be determoned by the new owner, You could actually get away with doing some further patch work, match the paint up and be good to go, but again, that will be up to her new daddy. The interior is in really good shape. there are three or four small holes in one area of the head liner, and one rip in each of the front seats which I tried to show in the pictures . the door panels are fine as is the back seat. It also has tilt steering. all the glass is there and in good shape, no cracks or divits, windows roll up and down as does the back quarter windows. For some reason the previous owner took the heater core housing and windshield wiper motor off the firewall. (I was going to put in an auxillary heater under the dash). I also have the gas tank and radiator. pretty much everything is there to put it back together. this is a muscle car that is a good part of the way complete and when its done, it will be hot. My reserve is set lower than the cost of all the new parts I've put on. I live in Interlaken ny, about 15 mins from Ithaca and about 45 from syracuse. I encourage you to come take a look at it. just email me and we can set up a time. for an extra charge,I can deliver within 60 miles, Otherwise the winning bidder must arrange for pick up/delivery. After its paid in full,I can store it for no charge for a month or so until pick up can be arranged. a $500.00 non refundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auctions end. I have described this vehile the best i can and it is being sold as is with no warranty. please check my feedback, you will see that i am an honest e-bayer so bid with confidence and good luck. the winner will not be disapointed. This car is being relisted with a lower reserve of $1,900. I am taking a huge loss but my loss could become your gain.
