What we have here is a RARE 37 Chevrolet.,its another project I thought I would get to.It would make a great ratrod or street rod.The vehicle is not running and there is no transmission,vehicle will have to be towed. It does have a G.M.C. straight six motor , the #'s on the block are 6107326 GMC-6 which someone took the time / effort to cover the carb. up real good, so who knows it may run, was told it's a 270 G.M.C. and these were hopped up for racing, also the oil pan is unusually long and deep.I do have an application for title.There is rust on both doors at the bottom on the outside skin only { see photos ] the inside bottom portion of doors look real good { see photos }. Both front cab corners have rust issues { see photos } this also I would not repair , just what any self respecting rat rod needs, not to mention the patina , the custom hood hinges, also check out the interior shots, notice the windshield that is not correct for the application and the professional job of installing complete with rock hard goop running down the dash ! , another must have item for any self respecting rat rod !, this truck has been setting for about 15 years beside my cabin in the mountains.I have not worked on the truck at all , all of the things that make this truck so cool were done way before I aquired it, someone I'm sure thought they were doing a great job fixing up a truck with what was available. The grille is missing but I think its just begging for a custom chicken wire homemade grille insert.Vehicle is in Southern California - halfway between L.A. and Palm Springs. thanks
