Up for auction is a 1950 chevy truck project with a lot of the hard work already done. If you have seen this vehicle on ebay before it is because my last winning bidder was relatively nearby and traded this vehicle back in to me on a dodge charger . this truck body has the original vin plate but a new title will have to be applied for(no big deal in most states )a bill of sale will be provided to winning bidder .now the cab has had extensive work done to it ,it has been chopped by a professional body shop locally . It has the exterior door handles shaved and aftermarket latches installed. The third brake light is installed in cab tThe air vent has been smoothed and the dash has been custom built . this work alone would reach into the thousands in labor. The cab has been mounted on a 1979 chevy short bed frame some bushings will need to be fabricated as it is only mocked up in front with wooden blocks to the frame . it has the brake pedal and booster mounted to body and the steering column installed . The truck has cross member , driveshaft, and exhaust system already in place. What this means for you is that with a small block and trans bolted in you have a running driving stopping project. This would make a really cool ratrod and the great thing about this kind of project is nothings original. You can go to your local salvage yard and choose your own seats, put in any engine or trans you desire , paint it any color , have custom upholstry to suit you . dont worry what original color was or where your going to find that expensive emlem its a rat rod make it the way you want it . There is no bed with this project however I do know of a bed from a 1953 chevy available..
