Because the following description is based on our initial observation (and some input from the donor) - issues may exist that are not described below - for this reason, we strongly recommend an inspection prior to bidding. Description:
Up for auction is a 1973 Chevrolet ¾ Ton Pickup, STK#158076. This vehicle has been inspected by our mechanics and was found to be running and driving; however, it is in need of a new battery. There may be other mechanical issues that we are not aware of. The odometer displays 18,713 miles but we believe the truck to have over 100k miles. The odometer only displays 5 digits. This would be a great classic pickup if properly restored. Or it would make a good work vehicle. The truck is equipped with A/C but it does not appear to be working at this time. The truck also has a recent paint jb but it appears to have been an amateur job and is in need of some touch up. There are paint drips and orange peeling around the body. The interior could use a new bench seat cover and some interior clean up as well. This would be a great classic Chevy with the right work. The registration for this vehicle expired 9/03 and it is currently registered Planned Non-Operational. There are back fees in the estimated amount of $201 for the 07 to 09 period. This truck has an Application for Duplicate Title which means there is no title in our possession and it must be applied for – if you are bidding from out of State or outside the U.S., please be aware that you may need to first title/register in California in order to title or export to your state/country of residence. Payment Terms:
The successful high bidder must submit a non-refundable 25% deposit deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit can be made over the phone with a credit card or with PayPal. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Any other arrangements must be agreed to before bidding. In order to complete all financial transactions and paperwork, the buyer MUST provide a valid form of picture identification (Passport or Driver's License). All financial transactions and paperwork must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle's transfer paperwork must be signed by the buyer prior to pick up or shipping. The shipping company cannot sign for you. If you cannot be there in person to sign these documents we can assist you by fax or email. Vehicle inspections must take place PRIOR to bidding and end of auction. By bidding without formally inspecting this car, you understand that issues overlooked and not described in the description are not grounds for cancelling this sale. Your bid is your acceptance of this vehicle AS-IS. FAILURE to comply with any of the terms will result in forfeiture of deposit and ownership rights to this vehicle. Vehicles are relisted on eBay if complete payment and paperwork are not completed within 7 days. Unpaid Item Disputes will be filed for any unpaid item, regardless of the circumstances. Upon completion of the Unpaid Item Dispute you will also be permanently blocked.

Fees and Taxes:
Cars 4 Causes(r) charges a $149.00 administrative fee on ALL transactions. *(Cars 4 Causes(r) is a non-profit 501 (c)3 charity. Proceeds from this sale will go to support other charities and Cars 4 Causes(r) funded programs - such as youth education. In order for us to benefit charitable causes, the $149.00 must be collected on every transaction in order to afford our administrative costs and overhead such as postage fees, phone/internet costs and staffing at our vehicle facilities) Any sales tax or registration/title fees are the responsibility of the buyer! Shipping is responsibility of the buyer - we do not offer or arrange shipping! Vehicle must be picked up from our location in Santa Paula, CA 93060. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. New bidders/Zero Feedback Bidders:
If you are newly registered with eBay or have zero feedback - you must email us with your name, phone number and ebay user ID prior to bidding. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your bids. Additional Terms:
After sale ends, winning bidder will have 7 days to complete sale. If you can't pick up this car within 7 days, you must still send full payment within the 7 days...Cars 4 Causes(r) will hold the car for you (10 days storage included with the sale, $10.00 per day afterwards) while you make arrangements to pick up this car! This vehicle is sold as a complete vehicle - parts will not be removed or sold seperately. This auction will close at its scheduled time to the high bidder (provided the reserve is met) - no exceptions. However, we still reserve the right to cancel any auction due to listing errors. Winning bidder will get ownership documents, and a bill of sale disclosing the winning bid. Winner will then be responsible for any tax and license fees (including back fees, if applicable). Winning bidder will be responsible for titling/registering this car on their own! Additional fees may be due to the proper agencies (tax, license, back fees). Notice: Anyone new to Ebay or having an account with a feedback score of zero must email me to confirm that they are a serious bidder. Any zero-score bidders who do not email me will have their bids cancelled! PLEASE NOTE -If we have disclosed this car as a running/driving car, that simply means that we are able to start it and drive it at parking lot speeds and the car stops well. We strongly recommend you inspect the vehicle you would like to bid on BEFORE bidding. We also recommend you tow your vehicle away and have it inspected before driving - regardless of condition.
