ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE!
Sorry about the auction being pulled last night - Ebay did not like how I worded the fact that I accept cash as a payment.
I purchased this truck to be my "toy" project. I am only allowed to have one at a time, per the boss (wife) - and have since purchased another that I would rather keep ( 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally ). So, this one has to go!
The body is a 1950 and 1951 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton pick up truck mounted onto an unknown year Bronco chassis. Since it's on the Bronco, the truck has push button 4x4 ( four wheel drive ) and power windows. Whomever did the body swap did quite well, and wired up all of the original headlights and tail lights for the truck. The bed is in great shape, and the wood is still decent - however, it could stand to be sanded down and refinished. The body needs some metal work on it. The fenders are cracked, and the cab supports under the floor are rusted free - as you can see in the pictures, the cab sags because of this. I was going to lift the cab off, weld in some new metal - and call it a day.
The interior needs finished - the speedometer from the Ford is hooked up and working, along with the radio. The truck is in need of carpet, and the seats need bolted down. Also, a door panel should be constructed for the driver's door. The power windows work - and go up and down smoothly - however, the glass is cracked. The 2 piece windshield is NEW and tinted.
The tires and wheels look good on the truck. The front tires are 255/60/15 and the rear are 33/12.5/15 -
I was unable to get the passenger door to open, but never took the door panel off in order to pull the latch from the inside.
The truck is titled as a 1951 Chevy Truck - it is a CLEAR TITLE, and the truck can be plated/insured
The last time I drove the truck down the road, I noticed a little white smoke out of the tailpipe.
Deposit in the amount of $200 is due within 24 hours of auctions end - full payment is due within 7 days of auctions end, and pickup within 14 days of auctions end. I accept PayPal ONLY for the deposit, unless you contact me prior to winning ( then we can talk about PayPal for the whole amount ). I will accept bank checks, money orders, and I will also accept cash at time of pickup ( cod - as long as pick up occurs within the 7 day payment period ).If you can't pick the truck up within the 14 days, just let me know prior to winning ( not after ). If you need a good transport company, I can line you up with the guy I use - he accepts PayPal!
