This truck is a 1970 Chevrolet Ton Truck. Our state does not require inspections for liscensing or titling purposes. This is a 350 V-8 small block with a Manual transmission 4 speed on the floor. It has black interior (seats and dashboard). We replaced the steering wheel but needs a new steering bushing. It has not got a radio in the dash, however there is one in the cab that goes with this vehicle. The paint on the cab is green in color, with some fading and some very light surface rust. The back lower corners of the cab have some small areas of rust. This truck has a flat bed with low wooden sides. The floor of this bed is also wooden. And is in good shape.
This truck also has two good tires that we are including to replace the front steertires of this vehicle. We are just a little lazy and have not had the time to change them over. The rear tires to this truck are in good shape as is the exhaust. It does not burn oil nor does it smoke. We recently replaced the voltage regulator approx. 1 month ago. It does have a tendecy to not want to start once it warms up if shut off. The battery for this truck is about a year old.
This truck also has a super heavyduty offset spring hitch on the rear of this. As well as two heavy duty tow hooks on the front bumper. It also has the super ultra low gear for first. It is a real heavy duty truck as at one time was a conservation vehicle for our state conservation department. The clearance lights on the top of the cab work, as do the taillights,turn signals, and the brakes are good. The springs are heavy duty and good, no missing springs or shackles. It also has brush guards over the headlights. It does have one headlight that needs replaced as it is out.
We are sincerly hoping that someone purchases this truck for a good project or farm vehicle, due to the fact that it just deserves a good home as my husband is now unable to make it a project himself anymore.
