I purchsed this pick-up for an almost 60 year old man who spent nearly $15000 in last five years he owned it. I have had it for 1.5 years and don't drive it enough to keep it. It has just over 28000 miles on remanufactured 350 engine (mild cam), rebuilt transmission with mild shift kit and rebuilt transfer case. Paint is five years old. Other items replaced have less that 28000 miles and are as follows- rebuilt brakes with new shoes, drums, pads and rotors, rebuilt front end, both drivelines, lock-out hubs and much more (paperwork to go with the pick-up). nearly new tires on both sets of wheels (5 spoke chrome not shown). Dual exhaust with 1year old headers with lifetime warranty. Cruise was not hooked up at time of engine swap and the dash pad currenly has a aftermarket cover on it due to some cracks in the pad. The cab corners and rocker panels are starting to show some beginning stages of rust again. This pick-up drives and handles like I can only imagine that it did when it was new and gets 16-17 mpg at 70mph.
