Take a look at this gorgeous truck! This truck has clearly been somebody's baby. It is immaculate and in amazing condition. This year and model of truck is extremely hard to find. I have only seen a couple of these in the last year. The shortbed crew cab 4X4 pickups were expensive and people who ordered them often ordered them with the 350 instead of the 454 V8. This truck has the big-block motor and it is a big beast! I have driven it and it runs and drives very strong. The transmission shifts smoothly and correctly with no slippage and the motor does not smoke or use oil. The engine was compression tested and found to still be within new car specs. The 4x4 system is the more reliable "floor shift" and not the push-button selenoid actuated kind. I like this because it gives you the option of putting the transfer case into neutral. The motor does have a 1 noisy lifter when cold, but the lifter pumps up after a few minutes and the noise goes away. This is a pretty common 454 thing and is not a problem. The A/C blows ice-cold and the heater works great. I have had an ASE certified mechanic who is well versed in Chevy trucks inspect this truck and he found some really interesting stuff. The motor appears to be well maintained and in very good condition. There are no noticeable leaks and as previously stated, this truck doesn't smoke or use oil. My mechanic was particularly surprised by the front-end, because he stated that lifted Chevy trucks all have loose pitman arms and loose front-end components. Not this truck. He checked it all and it is all very tight. He was impressed. The rear differential has a MAG-HYTEC rear diff cover and fluid which itself is about a $700 upgrade. The brakes are good and everything seems to work on the truck. I didn't find anything broken but I didn't test every light and switch. The windows and locks work and there is a stock Chevy keyless remote. This truck was traded in to a new car dealership and I bought this and a group of other vehicles from them at an auction. I usually don't buy inventory like this, but it came as a package deal. I am sure that this truck will bring years of satisfaction to it's new owner. It is a heckuva nice truck. It has ProComp lift (about 6 inches) and it sits on 37 inch IROK Super Swampers that are bias-ply tires and not suitable in my opinion for highway driving. These tires were made for off-road. I have a friend who owns a tire store and he said that bias-ply tires are next to impossible to balance and while they have great utility off-road, I would not want to drive them over 75 MPH on a long trip. They just aren't made for that. With that said, they have between 10-50% tread left and I would plan on putting new tires on at some point. Carfax and Autocheck verify that this truck has had no accident history and we guarantee clean and clear title. This truck was originally white and has had a professional color change where everything was repainted black including all interior, bed and exterior components. This was done by people who know how to do a factory quality paint-job which is obvious when you look at the pictures. The paint is amazing. Naturally, this is not a new truck so there are some imperfections like dings, scratches and chips and the occasional wear mark or stain on the carpets. Look at the pictures. We do our best to accurately describe our vehicles. I don't believe that the new owner will have to shell out a lot of money after the sale, but I would reccomend putting radial tires on this truck unless your only going to be using it off-road. I have driven this truck and I really like it, but you can't pick your nose in it because every head turns when you drive this down the street. It has a dual-chamber exhaust so it sounds pretty mean and it really gets up and moves when you touch the gas. Speaking of which, I have a friend who has a suburban with this motor and he gets 17 MPG on the highway so I doubt that this will break you from a fuel standpoint. It is a strong truck and a great-looking truck and I am sure you will be happy with it. Please call if you have any questions. -Shaun 801-369-4193
