Very nice solid Suburban, with the original 402 engine. The Suburban sat in a backyard for years. The odometer reads 7,848 miles. The old man swore by the miles, I suspect it might be true because the odometer hasn't turned over, but I don't swear by it. It drives smooth and is very tight. I dropped the oil pan and replaced the oil pump with a Melling pump, overhauled the carburetor, has new truck Michelin 15 inch tires, has Chevrolet 15 inch Rally wheels. I installed a 2 1/2 inch drop spindle with front and rear PSI sway bars. It really handles very nice. What is unique about the Suburban is the factory hugger orange. I painted the hood and one fender and it looks very nice. I also bought a new high efficienty radiator for it. I also bought a water pump, alternator, a new dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers (has a very nice sound to it). I also installed an original Suburban rear hitch and a nice stereo system. What is really rare about the Suburban is the overhead air conditioning unit (currently not working but have the compressor for it which needs to be installed and serviced).
