Up for auction is 1992 Chevy Suburban, It was a prior Highway Patrol Command Unit. It has the Arrow Stick traffic advisor that works and the spot lights in the front the passenger one needs a new handle wont spin or light up. It has two radio antennas on it and the wires are still in side so you could hook a CB. It also has a light in the back. The interior is ok it is a 16 year old truck but it does not have any major tears in it. The headliner on the drives side is starting to come down a little you can not ell unless up look for it. The driver side seat has a tear by the seat belt but other than that no tears. The back seats fold down and it can take alot of equipment we have used it for camping and my kids sleep inside the back with no problems. Just behind the rear seats are storage areas along with the sides in the back. It has a full size spare and it looks new.
It is set up for towing it has the brake control unit and a large brake system in it. I have pulled large trailer with it and have no problems. It has 16 tires load range E's they have good tread so they wont need to be replaced anytime soon.
I have changed the catalytic converter and added a Summit muffler it sounds good but not loud it is a daily driver not a hot rod! It has a 5.7 Liter V8 engine and an automatic transmission and is a TWO wheel drive. It has barn doors on the back. It has the old style push bumpers this is secured to the frame and it will push most things off the road with no problems. It also has 35 gallon fuel tank and gets pretty good gas mileage for its size. I was able to get about 335 miles on a tank of gas when I drove it.
The drive side door hangs up when you close it, I took it to a body shop and they said that when they were painted they did not put all the shims in it, it will close but you need to give it a good push. The other doors and windows are in great shape. It did have a light bar on the front but it was removed so they put cylacone on it nad it has not leaked.
It does have a leak by the transmission but nothing major, I check the fluids twice a month and have had no problems. It is a good looking suburban but is 16 years old so it will have some squeeks and creeks.
All that I have stated is "true" to the best of my knowledge I will not sell junk!! Please email me questions and I will answer them. Please only bid if you intend to pay me.
I can deliver it to you for a separate fee of .95 cents a mile from my home and that is a COD delivery. We are a licenses and insured auto transport company.
An $800.00 no refundable deposit is due 24 hours after winning bid and full payment is due within 7 days from end of auction.
