4th of July Special:
This Red White and Blue Classic, valued and appraised at 12,600, can be yours this weekend for a special limited offer:
Here are the Details: 1962 Is a significant year-
First year without the huge ugly wings. This was called the 'plucked chicken' car.
Best year for Chrysler non-letter series sales
Best year for performance 300's
It is the last of the exclusive letter series, sport series were offered for the first time this year.
This car is same as letter series, plus 2 extra doors, and could be ordered with the same options as the letter series, except the letter "H".
This has a numbers matching 383 and pushbotton 727 Torqueflite- you know the engine, this is the SAME engine that ended up in the RoadRunner and Super Bee as the standard engine.
The car has been in this family for 10 years and was bought 8 miles from original owners. We know of the history of the car and have all receipts and records that will go with the car to the winning bidder.
Auction: This is a low reserve auction and the bidder shall pay through Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. Keep in mind, if you pick up car on a Saturday, you will need to be early because the tag place closes at 12:00 PM and we will need to have notary to transfer title and paper work.
THE CAR:
This car has been at a local shop for over 2 years while the mechanic has been working on it. (I am a friend of his and he works on the car when he gets a chance. It saves me money this way and I get free storage too.)
However, since these pictures have been taken, many changes have taken place, some good things- and some bad things. For the good, many new and some NOS parts have been put on. For the bad, namely the passenger side head light bezel took a nasty dig from a snow plow as the plow was makeing a corner in the driveway. Also, the car has not been washed or waxed for about 2 years. (I planned on painting the car and keeping it, which is why I have alot of chrome and trim additional in this auction.
That is all the bad and worse to report.
Look for close up pictures of damage, rusty spots, and dents- as well as chrome pitting and headliner/dash and decklid.
Newer pictures added July3rd, 2008
Now for the good:
The car has had much work to it, and many new parts. The work done to the car is as follows:
New rear brakes, new MOPAR updated electronic ignition, new fuel sending sensor, new plugs, new MOPAR 8MM insulation wires, new front end, new bushings, new tie rod ends, shocks, new anti--sway bars, new idler arm, new control arm, and new upper and lower ball joints.
New rear leaf springs- heavy duty, and new interior parts- seat covers, headliner and carpet.
As for items to be installed after repaint- I have trim for rear quater, headlight bezel- to replace the dented one, 2 twin post mirrors, one remote, wiper arms, Chrysler insignias-(on side of fender after bumper). "300" emblems, washer motor, rear light chrome inserts, rear gaskets for lights-(new), correct antena, clock, and 2 new tripple plated chrome bumpers.
DID YOU GET THAT? OR WERE YOU SLOWLY FADING AWAY JUST READING ALL THIS? INCLUDED ALONG WITH ALL THESE THINGS ARE A SET OF NEWLY FRESH TRIPLE PLATED CHROME BUMPERS, FRONT AND REAR......NOW THAT IS TRULY AWSOME!
Please keep in mind, if the car is going to be shipped overseas- or even inter-nationally you will need to make arrangements on shipping bumpers and extra parts. Local pickup is best so you can get the extra parts together with the car.
This car is located in suburban Philly, outside the city and close to all highways. It is drivable, but I would suggest a car transporter. (I can do this for a fee)
The glass is good, as well as side trim. Any areas where the chrome needs help and I have allready bought all the parts- on Ebay and other car places- spending 2 years tracking down good driver parts-(not show, but driver)
Any questions please ask before bidding.
I have sold 6 Mopars on Ebay, and 5 motorcycles. I have a great feedback rating, and answer questions as honest as possible. Please do not ask for reserve price, it is unfair to other bidders.
Please do not bid if you do not have a feedback rating.
Please do not bid if you do not do Paypal.
Please do not bid if you are a negative feedback receiptant.
I will sell overseas if you arrange shipping.
This is a 305HP High output 383 with a 727 Torqueflite numbers matching car.
{Also: I am selling the car locally and may end auction early- actually, I would rather continue auction but I have received offers.}

The 4th of July special is past, and I have removed the "buy-it-now" option, however, I will be keeping the listing up and am accepting 'best offers' because as of this revision I have had over 800 watchers, so bid to win and leave offers. No unreasonable offer will be refused. Happy bidding!
