Vehicle Description Hi, your looking at a 1979 Chrysler Diplomat(from what i was told). I bought the car already stripped and set up to be derbyed, all i had to do was drop a motor an trans in it. Story behind the car was my buddy who happens to be a big derby person has been running scrap and came across this gem. It was sitting in older gentlemens driveway for the past 5 or 6 years because the motor let go and he was planning on repairing sometime and never got around to it. So my friend brought the car home, which wasnt a bad deal. It is a really solid car. Theres barely and rott on this car, the floors are like new almost, the quarters, rockers ect... are all mostly rust free. The underneath of the car has rust but no real rotted areas, not where it matters anyways. He gutted the car, put a battery box in it, "prebent" the car in the back where it needs so that it would fold up the right way. I had all the intentions to run the car at our local fair, but im more of a dirttrack kind of a guy, plus between my work schedule and my race schedule i just dont have the time to think let alone take the time to get a motor and trans for the car. I will consider delivering up to 80miles if the buyer will pay for my gas expenses. I drive an 05 ram so its not like ill be delivering it with a dump truck. If you have any questions feel free to ask, i also have a 4 cylinder dodge shadow derby car that i ran once last year and ended getting stuck on a bumper, car still has alot of live left......
