1983 Chrysler Lebaron Town Country Convertible
Up for auction is a 1983 Chrysler Lebaron. This was the car that brought back amercian convertibles after a 7 year lull. Only 3,045 were produced in 1983. This Town Country convertible has the Marrine Teak vinyl wood grain siding, and Ash colored surround moldings. The 2.6 liter Mitsubishi motor runs ok but has what I think to be an intake mainfold leak and needs carburator adjustment.
This car has the optional 'Mark Cross' leather interior package which includes Corinthian leather bucket seats, a large center armrest, and unique door panel inserts with 'Mark Corss' badges. The convertible power top is in great shape and has a plastic rear window. There is also a padded top boot that snaps into place when the top is down.
This car has every option that was available including the 'Electronic Voice Alert' which gives 23 different spoken warnings to alert the driver to various situations.
I purchased this car from an insurance auction. As you can tell from the pics, it was involved in an accident and there is damage to the front drivers side. I purchased the car with a bill of sale and this is how it will be sold. I do not have a title. I can send more pictures if requested and if your local you are weclome to come by and look at the car.
I'm selling this car becuase I have a backyard full of other projects and don't have the time to work on it. This car has been setting in the backyard under a tarp and and I think it is a shame to just let it go to waste. It is a very unique car and turns heads every time I drive it around the block.
