1989 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible with only 53,400 miles on it! This car is a beautiful two-tone burgundy on the outside and burgundy inside as well. The original black convertible top looks great and has a thick cloth burgundy headliner to make this car comfy in all temperatures. The car has been cared for well all of its life, stored inside since new, has just been rained on for the first time last week!, and is ready to provide years of use to a new owner. It is a gorgeous, rust free car.
A great car for; top down cruising, economical transportation, car for kids, 2nd car, only car,..... you name it this car is up to it.
This LeBaron Convertible has Chryslers 2.5 electronically fuel injected 4 cylinder engine capable of great gas mileage. This car starts, runs, drives, stops, etc.....wonderfully! The automatic transmission works great too. The air conditioning works great. Combined with the thick cloth headliner keeping cool is no problem. I just drove the car when it was 87 and sunny, and before long had the blower set at the second to the lowest setting.
All the major options are here including; power windows, locks, TOP, mirrors, cruise , and am/fm stereo/cassette. The factory aluminum rims look great and have all season Kelly Tires with 1/3+ tread. This year has the headlight doors that swing up when the lights are off and they are of course.......not working.
The top is in great shape looking much closer to 2 years not 20 years old. I did see one 1/8 inch long perforation on the side, perhaps from being pinched by the top frame in the past.
All of the manuals are with the car. The burgundy top boot looks great but has a bracket missing from it, definately worth fixing though. The car has its 53,000 mile share of nicks, scratches and blemishes but is an overall beautiful car.
