This car is a restorers dream. There is no significant body or interior damage. The drivers side inner door panel and the drivers seat are the most worn and rough feature. (see photo's) There are minor dings on the exterior and a couple of small spots that were probably rust but were touched up to prevent spread. It does not run. I've had it started twice but I'm not enough of a mechanic to figure out what the problem is. I suspect the carb but I'm not positive. The engine is a 413 wedge and is in overall good condition (the car was driven until around 1999). I don't have the title but I will give the new owner a bill of sale and an affidavit of ownership to facilitate the title transfer. This car was given to me in lieu of cash for computer work. This auction is as is where is. I don't have a problem with out of state buyers as long as you're responsible for pick-up. I have seen this model of New Yorker restored and selling for as much as $13,500.00. Check the Kelly Blue Book. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will respond as quickly as possible. I prefer PayPal for payment within 72 hours of auction close.
