Up for auction is an an ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS 1966 Chrysler New Yorker!!! Almost everything about this car is ORIGINAL!!! Other then a repaint and reupholster of the cloth portion of the front seat, everything else is ORIGINAL, including the carpets, windows, bumpers, rear seat, dash, steering wheel floor boards, trunk surrounds and so on. I have owned this classic for the past 15 years!! The exterior is a lustrous black with CHROME bumpers, side moldings, and fender flares! The exterior is in GREAT SHAPE!!! The interior is a GORGEOUS blue cloth and vinyl! The arm rests, seats, floor boards, dash, glass, and headliner are all in WONDERFUL CONDITION!!! In the pictures of the doors, each one shows the suns reflection off of the chrome ashtrays, so do not mistaken these for defects! One of the things that makes this car unique is that it has factory air! I have not put freon in this car in years and the AC is still ICE COLD. It holds the R-12 freon VERY WELL, even after all these years!!! The power windows all work GREAT, as does the power drivers seat and antennae!!! The car has both FRONT & REAR speakers that are ALL working!!! The rear shelf has a separate heater/defroster!!! You can see the motor for this in the trunk picture. The POWERFUL 440 cu in, 365 HP, engine starts RIGHT UP and does not leak or smoke!!! The engine is equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor and I had an electric fuel pump installed for EASY starting!!! This car also comes with POWER steering and POWER brakes, which aid in making this car a REAL DREAM of a DRIVER!!!! I probably drive it about 500 miles a year, and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! Th cars runs very QUIETLY and SOLID!!! This car is a PUFF!!! I almost do not want to let it go, but I have had my fun with it and now I am giving you a chance to a have some fun with a WONDERFUL CLASSIC!!! Terms and Conditions
Fee and Tax Information: I have done my best to represent this car as fairly and accurately as possible. All vehicles are available for inspection. Tampa International Airport is the easiest airport to travel to. Please make your travel arrangements during normal business hours, i.e. Monday-Friday between the hours of 9-4 p.m. Also give us 48-72 hours notice on your flight arrival.
We recommend that if you are buying this car sight unseen, that you get an independent car inspection prior to bidding on this car. The cost is only $99 and we will even reimburse you $50 if you get the inspection and actually WIN the car!! There is a link near the bottom of this auction that will take you to the web site of an independent inspections company.
A bid is a binding contract, so serious bidders only please.
Sorry, but we do not finance or take credit cards! We do charge a $99 documentation/processing fee for all transactions.
If you live outside Florida, and plan to drive the car home, you are responsible to pay your STATE SALES TAX TO US , we will give you a bill of sale showing that sales tax has already been paid here in Florida and title transfer fee($43.75). When you get back to your home state, you just need to show the DMV this AND YOU WILL NOT have to pay taxes AGAIN!!!
If you are having it shipped NO sales tax will be collected.
Florida residents are required to pay state sales tax, title transfer fee ($43.75), registration fee, and license plate fee (If Needed)($150). Dealers are required by law to collect these fees and process all of this paperwork at the DMV for the buyer. All of these fees are regulated by the state. Title transfer, registration fees and license plate fee vary by person and birth date so we charge a flat rate and refund any difference in charges.
ALL purchases require at least 48-72 hours to process, during our normal business hours of 8-5 p.m. Mon-Fri.
Bidders with less than 10 feedbacks MUST email us before bidding showing their intent to purchase the vehicle. Due to increasing non-paying bidders, we reserve the right to cancel your bid if you do not have more then 10 feedbacks.
Evaluating if this car is "for you", is during the auction process. The conclusion of the auction is the time to pay. Bidding means that you have entered a binding agreement to purchase this vehicle immediately following the conclusion of the auction and that you have the funds to do so. So please, ask questions, have it inspected etc before the auction ends!!
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. 25% DEPOSIT is due within 72 hours of AUCTION END!! If we do not receive a deposit within 72 hours, we may sell the car to someone else in. FULL PAYMENT AND PICKUP/SHIPMENT is due within 7 days of auction end. If Pickup/Shipment is not made within 7 days, we will Charge you $10 per Day Storage FEE!!! We accept Cash in person, Bank Check and Cashiers Check. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure, if financing, that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
If you plan on driving this car home, we recommend that you have cars SHIPPED back to your home state, unless your local. Some of our cars have not been driven vast distances before, or in sometime. We vouch for our cars in each of our auctions, but there is ABSOLUTELY no way for us to ensure that 15-50 year old cars will make it back to YOUR HOME safely! We only wish we had that kind of crystal ball!!! Things happen like broken belts, busted hoses, Blown Tires etc. We will not be responsible for these types of normal wear and tear items. By the time you factor in the cost of a one way ticket, gas to get home, loss of wages, multiple meals, 1 or 2 night Motel stays and the possibility of something going wrong on your way back home, you will just about break even! There are plenty of EMPTY shipping trailers leaving the State of Florida, meaning that these companies are not making any money! So they are willing to make deals on shipping to put something on these trailers! Search around and get a few different quotes as this has been how people have saved money on shipping!
If you do elect to drive a car back to your home and happen to experience a problem, please call and we will work with you to help resolve it. We have had buyers who had an issue, left negative feedback, and never even tried to contact us!! We want to make this experience satisfactory for you, so please call us before leaving feedback and we will do everything we can to satisfy you!
If you plan on picking the car up, we need 48-72 hours notice prior to your arrival. Please do not call us the day before you plan on arriving!!
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.

We are a licensed car dealer. We have a dealer's license but do not have a typical dealership. We do not have flags, balloons or sleazy salesmen. We sell cars over the internet, and have been doing so for some time now. We are just 2 guys trying to make a little extra money over our normal day jobs. We do not have a lot of overhead etc., so we can afford to pass that savings on to you the consumer. We are honest and fair, just read our feedback and see for yourself!
Although our office is in Tampa, most of our cars are located in St. Petersburg, which is a 20 minute ride from our location.
