Description:I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in March 1999 when it had 99,000 miles on it. The owner (a retired drug salesman) told me how he had used the car to service his territory which covered (4) states (AL, GA, SC, and NC). Realizing that most of the miles on the car were highway miles, I decided to purchase it. When the odometer reached 103,000 miles it began to burn a little oil. I took it to a Chrysler dealer and asked why it was starting to burn oil. The dealer explained to me that the guides and seals used in this model were inferior. And that with a replacement of new guides and seals the problem would be corrected forever.Since I liked the car so much, I had them replace the guides and seals, the water pump and the timing belt. This corrected the problem and the car has never burned any oil since. The car, while not in showroom condition, is in fairly good condition and is very dependable. The only thing it could use at this time is to have the AC charged.
There is no rust or dents, only a few parking lot dings. The headliner is loose in a few spots. The paint and tires are in fairly good condition. The transmission was rebuilt a few months ago (10/3/07) with a 12,000 mile warranty.
Since I retired last year, I haven’t been driving it much and would like to cancel the insurance I carry on it.The car comes with: -Power seats-Power locks-Power windows-Tape deck and stereo-Front cup holder-Huge trunk-Cruise Control-Clear Title-Receipts for all work done on the car since I bought it
Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
