Where do your automobiles come from?
Each week, we attend exclusive dealer-only events to fulfill wholesale orders. Of all the vehicles we acquire, a select number of program models are made available for sale to the public from our facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
What is a program vehicle?
A program vehicle is an off-lease, fleet, dealer demo, or rental unit released from service. Generally, these vehicles are in top condition since corporate owners employ maintenance practices that exceed manufacturer requirements. In addition, our company rigorously evaluates every model to deliver the very best quality and value for our clients.
Do your vehicles have clean vehicle history reports?
Yes. Every automobile is CarFaxTM and AutoCheckTM certified. In fact, before an acquisition is made, every automobile undergoes a comprehensive inspection and thorough road test.
Are your vehicles under warranty?
Unless otherwise stated, our vehicles are covered by the remaining factory warranty. Extended service plans are available to cover your vehicle beyond the manufacturer's warranty. Plans begin as low as $1,295 for an additional 3 years or 38,500 miles.
What additional fees can I expect to pay?
A $395 Doc fee is charged to each sale. AZ residents pay 8.1% sales tax, $68.50 title and TBD registration fee. Non-Arizona residents pay $395 Doc fee and $68.50 Title/TRP fee only.
Are vehicles available for test drives?
Yes. Visit us during regular business hours and spend unhurried time with the vehicle of your choice. Outside of regular operating hours we are available by appointment.
Will your vehicles pass California emissions testing?
Yes. Each automobile is in compliance with California emission standards. In fact, our models meet the requirements for sale throughout the United States, its territories and Canada.
Do you accept trades?
No. We do not accept trades of any kind.
What can I expect to pay for auto shipping?
Wholesale shipping quotes are available from our web site 24 hours a day or by phone during business hours. Pricing varies based on open or closed transport and destination. Prices range from $150 up to $3,000. Here are a few examples:
Shipping to most areas of Canada are estimated at $1,895 plus $150 to $200 for the Customs broker. Shipping to Southern California is approximately $300. Shipping to New York, NY is approximately $950. Shipping to Dallas, TX is approximately $550. Shipping to Chicago, IL is approximately $895.
Our quotes include insurance and offer piece of mind since our transport providers have been prescreened. For clients receiving shipment in the contiguous United States, please allow up to 10 days for delivery from the date the vehicle leaves our facility.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Our rapid placement allows your automobile to reach its destination in safe and timely manner. For residents of Canada or Mexico, shipping is available to your door, to a border city, or to a bonded warehouse.
Is a better deal available for clients paying cash?
Our low pricing is already a better deal when making the comparison to other companies offering a similar product. Regardless of the method of payment, we cannot offer a lower price than what's advertised. We pledge that our pricing is fair and honest.
Do you accept requests for vehicles?
Yes. Our nationwide access to thousands of automobiles allow our company to locate the year, make, model, color, and package of your choice.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept certified checks, bank loan checks, personal and credit card checks with a 7 business day hold, wire transfers and credit cards. Credit cards are limited to a $500 maximum.

Can I take delivery in the United States?
Yes. Please note effective January 31, 2008, the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) takes effect. The WHTI requires a secure document, such as a passport or visa, for travel into the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
If I take delivery in the United States, what documents are provided to the U.S. border when I travel back to Canada?
We fax the required vehicle worksheet, a copy of the purchase order, and a photocopy of the front and back of the vehicle title at least 72 hours prior to the vehicle crossing into Canada.
Do you provide the required Recall Clearance Letter?
Yes. We provide the required Recall Clearance Letter from the manufacturer on their letterhead and endorsed by a representative meeting Canadian guidelines. The Recall Clearance Letter validates that all recalls have been met for the vehicle you are purchasing.
When should I ensure the vehicle?
Whether you're taking deliver in the United States or Canada, it's wise to initiate insurance coverage right away. At the very least, we encourage you to arrange coverage prior to taking delivery of the automobile.
What can I expect when arriving at the U.S. border?
When arriving at the U.S. border, you will need to present identification (driver's license and passport). After verification of your I.D. along with the documents we've faxed to the border, the title will be stamped for travel to Canadian Customs.
What can I expect when arriving at the Canadian border?
You will need to provide proper identification, the temporary U.S. registration, purchase order, title and Recall Clearance Letter.
Then, complete the following:
• Vehicle Import Form (Form 1)
• Pay the RIV fee
• Pay 5% GST (reduced from 6% effective January 1, 2008)
• Pay any excise tax
• Pay any duties (for vehicles produced outside the U.S.)
How do I determine if additional duties and taxes will be collected?

What happens after I clear Canadian Customs?
If any modifications are required, you will have 45 days for completion.. After completing any modifications (example daytime running lights), visit a local Canadian Tire for a free federal inspection.
When the vehicle passes inspection, take the stamped documents to the motor vehicle office to register the vehicle.

If the vehicle is shipped, what role does the Customs broker play?
For approximately $150-$200 (CAD), the Customs broker processes the customs-related paperwork on your behalf. The services of a broker allow you to take delivery at your residence or office.

FEES:
A $500 earnest deposit is required at the end of the auction. The balance is due within seven days of the auction's end date to finalize the sale. A $395 Doc fee is charged to each sale. AZ residents pay 8.3% sales tax, $68.50 title and TBD registration fee. Non-Arizona residents pay $395 Doc fee and $68.50 Title/TRP fee only.
AZ residents receive a 45-day temporary plate and registration until the permanent plate has been received.
Out-of-state residents receive a 90-day temporary plate and temporary registration. You must register the vehicle in your state within the time specified by your state.
FINANCING:
Financing is available on approved credit. We can email or fax a credit application to U.S. residents. Or, call 602-272-6888 and we can accept your application over the phone. West Valley Auto Group works with multiple lenders to provide affordable financing options for our customers.

If you purchase an automobile and do not have a lien-holder, you will receive the title in your name by mail. If you purchase an automobile and you have a lien-holder, the title will be mailed to the lender holding your loan.
