Vehicle Description
You are looking at a very nice 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXi Limited. First the good: power windows, power locks, power mirrors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, leather seats, dual air bags, auto-stick, electro-luminescent dash, a/c, cruise, fog lights, tilt wheel, power top, AM/FM cassette and CD player combo with Infinity sound speakers. When I purchased it this past September, I had all the rear brake hardware replaced, put new tires on it, and replaced a squeaky fan belt. This car runs and drives like a dream. I also put a K&N air filter in it for better gas mileage. On my last 200 mile trip, I got about 27 mpg. From what I'm told, this is pretty typical for this model. Now the bad: the previous owner accidentally bumped into a Reese hitched trailer, which left a small crack in the very front of the hood, and scraped a small amount of paint off of the front bumper. They then installed the black stripe that you see on the hood to cover up the crack. It really isn't that bad and does not affect the mechanics of the vehicle. Also, there are a few tears in the leather of the driver seat, so I ordered custom made seat covers (made specifically for this model) to cover the two front seats. The back seat is flawless however. The bottom line is that this car lists for just under $6,000 as it sits, and it's worth every penny. I love this car, but am forced to sell it because of some homeowner expenses that came from out of nowhere. My loss is your gain. This car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the bidding early. I require a deposit of $500 within 3 days of auction close. Full payment to be made within 7 days of auction close. I will not ship, but will work with the winning bidder to allow the car to be picked up. Please email me with any questions. Thanks!
