This is a 1982 Datsun MC Pick-Up Truck. We were told that the vehicle will run for a short time but will sputter due to a possible electrical problem. May require parts or service, sold as is.

We will call the contact phone number the day of the inspection to confirm attendance. If we do not receive confirmation the day of the inspection, the inspection will be cancelled. The inspections are scheduled for 30 minutes, so please arrive promptly to ensure adequate time.
Pickup/
Shipping: Pickup of vehicles is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th 2008 at 11:00 AM. To drive the vehicles from their current location we require a single trip permit from the DMV, which can be obtained from any California DMV office for $16.
We will not arrange for shipping of this vehicle.
SMOG/Emissions Information:
This vehicle does not have a current smog certificate. By bidding on this vehicle you agree to the following:
California Vehicle Code exempts public agencies that are selling vehicles from the requirement to obtain a current smog certificate (California Vehicle Code Section 24007.5). Public agencies and/or auctioneers are required to notify bidders in writing that a certificate of compliance (Smog Certificate), certifying that the vehicle complies with Part 5 (commencing with Section 43000) of Division 26 of the Health and Safety Code, before the vehicle may be registered in this state, unless the vehicle is sold to a dealer or for the purpose of being wrecked or dismantled or is sold exclusively for off-highway use. California law requires that the buyer obtain a certificate of compliance or noncompliance and register the vehicle with the department, and that failure to comply will result in a lien against any vehicle owned by the buyer pursuant to Section 10876 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, enforceable pursuant to Section 10877 of the Revenue and Taxation Code and Article 6 (commencing with Section 9800) of Chapter 6 of Division 3. Receipt of the notice required by this subparagraph shall be evidenced by the signature of the buyer.
This means that no smog certificate will be provided with the sale of this vehicle. The buyer will need to obtain a smog certificate to register the vehicle.

Winning Bidders will receive a complete invoice within 24 hours after close of auction. Winning Bidders must contact InterSchola at ebay-info@interschola.com within 3 days following notification of winning bid to make final payment arrangements. Pickup or shipping arrangements will also be made at this time.
The winning bidder of this auction may be required to sign a liability release form releasing the existing public agency owner of these assets from future liability as a condition of close of this auction.
Payment
InterSchola prefers payment through PayPal with a confirmed address. Credit and debit cards can be used through PayPal. We also accept United States Postal Service Money Orders and Cashier's Checks. We regret that we are unable to accept personal checks. For international customers we can only accept payment via PayPal.
If full payment is not RECEIVED within 6 days of auction close, InterSchola reserves the right to cancel the transaction and sell the item to another interested party. A Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed.
InterSchola will invoice the appropriate sales tax if required. Provision of a valid resale certificate or tax-exempt certification with payment may exempt buyers from sales tax.
Shipping
If shipping and handling are offered by InterSchola, for the item(s) listed in this auction, the terms of proposed shipping and handling will be outlined in the Item Description and/or in the "Shipping, payment details and return policy" section of the eBay listing. A small handling fee will be included for packaging materials etc. over and above the calculated shipping costs. InterSchola may ship via FedEx, UPS, or United States Postal Service. Please note that InterSchola reserves the right to substitute an equivalent service from another carrier to better meet the needs of a particular situation.
If the items for sale are too large and/or heavy for the carriers listed above, the Item Description will state "Local Pickup Preferred" and/or "Freight Shipping." If local pickup is not possible, Buyer is responsible for both shipping arrangements and expenses. InterSchola will include an additional quote for boxing and/or palletizing in the Item Description. If additional preparations are required (i.e. crating), Buyer is solely responsible for those additional requirements. InterSchola may be able to provide the contact information of a logistics provider to assist the Buyer with freight shipment arrangements. Pleast contact InterSchola at ebay-info@interschola.com to request this information. All shipping arrangements must be made in advance in coordination with InterSchola's scheduled pickup calendar.
If the Item Description states "For Local Pickup Only", InterSchola WILL NOT PREPARE this item for transport. All handling will be the responsibility of the Buyer.
Items listed by InterSchola are stored at school district locations. InterSchola requests that Buyers contact InterSchola within 3 days of auction close to confirm pickup or shipping arrangements. If an item is to be picked up, InterSchola reserves the right to charge a $50 fee plus per diem storage charges (up to 5% of listing price per day) if the buyer or his/her shipping/handling company/representative is not present at the pickup day and time specified in the listing or as otherwise agreed to in advance by InterSchola. Failure to pick up an item within 21 days of the close of the auction will result in the cancellation of the transaction and forfeiture of payment. Only if we are able to resell the item will InterSchola refund your payment-less $100 to cover our expenses AND less the difference in final sales price if lower than the original winning bid.

InterSchola and Seller, together do our best to present accurate, detailed information about every item listed. If you have any questions, please email us before placing your bid.
All InterSchola auction items are sold "as-is." Because our items are sold largely on behalf of public school entities, InterSchola is not able to accept returns. In the rare event that an item is received by a buyer and such item is significantly “Not as Described”, we request that the Buyer contact us at ebay-info@interschola.com in the hope that we can adequately resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
Bid Cancellation
If you have inadvertantly placed a bid or otherwise are unable to abide by terms of our listing, InterSchola will agree to cancel your transaction if contact with InterSchola is made within 36 hours of the original auction end date and time. In all instances, a $50 fee will be assessed to accommodate lost time and money on the part of InterSchola and the selling entity. We appreciate your understanding of this matter.

Any dispute regarding these services or the offer or sale of the goods will be governed by California law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco, California (if Interschola is a party to the dispute), or the Seller's principal place of business (if Interschola is not a party to the dispute), regardless of whether the dispute is brought under contract, tort or other principles. You hereby generally and unconditionally submit to and accept the jurisdiction of the courts as described in this paragraph.
