Vehicle Description
This is one of the nicest, cleanest, Best Driving Rust Free original Datsun Z’s that I have had the pleasure of owning. I have had numerous Z’s from 1971 to 1978 and this is exceptional. It has the original 2.4 liter 6 cylinder with 4-speed transmission. I know this vehicle to have never been in an accident, been raced or abused. It has always been garage and shows no rust. The car is the original silver color with black interior, and is completely stock with the exception of the normal maintenance items radio. The car starts easily, runs strong, drives straight tight. The silver paint is a once repaint and shows absolutely No Fading with only normal minor road chips, imperfections and a small touch up on hood corner. No Rust, with solid floor pans, trunk, undercarriage etc...(however, there is a small spot where some surface rust was removed/ cleaned and painted on the interior of rear hatch deck). The body is straight with no dents, and the chrome and rubber on the car are in very good condition. The rear bumper riser chrome has some discoloration from the exhaust gas. The interior of the car is in fantastic condition with new carpet and only 2 minor small tears in the drivers seat that have been sealed. The headliner is in excellent condition as well as the door panels. There is a dash cap (not pad) on the dash. There are 2 hair line cracks in the center console just in front of the ash tray that have been sealed so they do not spread. There is a tear in the right rear strut covering. This is a non-smokers car. Everything works on the car including the clock, gauges, power antenna Air conditioner (that blows Cold). All emblems are there and in great condition. (one pic shows the 280Z hatch emblem missing but one has been installed).

1). Brand New Cooper Cobra White Letter tires.
2). New Airflow Meter.
3). New Radiator.
4). New struts (front back).
5). New Stabilizer Bar Tie ends. (see pic.).
5). New Brake hoses, and brake service.
6). Recent Tune up, Transmission Serviced front end alignment.
7). New Paint New Carpet.
8). New Monza Exhaust.
All with less than 200 miles.
Everyone says that these Z’s are getting harder and harder to find, but I disagree. In fact they can be found by the dozens here on ebay and elsewhere. They are getting easier to find because everyone is becoming aware of how valuable they are. They are coming out of the wood work from barn finds to full restorations. The key is to find the ones that are truly original, clean and rust free. So choose wisely….and here is your chance to do just that. This is a truly fun, exciting, attention getting and original Z.

This Z was Virginia NC owned and has a current NC Inspection good through 4/2009.
I have in my description that the car is also "For Sale Locally". However, I have decided to REMOVE it from the Local Market advertising at this time.

Correction: It is the original 2.8L Engine, 4-spd. (not 2.4L as I typed in description). Also as for under Battery tray... there was only surface rust that has been removed,cleaned and painted. Again the paint has no evidence of fading and is in great cond. but not perfect! It does has minor chips and imperfections as stated in description.
