Vehicle Description
This is a 1982 Datsun 280 ZX. I got it in a trade and don't know too much about it. Other than it drives well and seems like a nice solid little cruiser. It is a Arizona car and is as rustfree as possible. Solid floors, rockers, doglegs,hatch opening, etc. Rustfree.. It is a 5 speed tranny, T Top car, power window,power mirror, cruise control, cold air conditioning,cloth interior car. It drives and runs great. I have driven it back and forth a couple times to Phoenix in 110 degree heat with no problems at all. The car runs at speed well. The paint is probably the original. Not in bad shape with very minor scratches here and there. The worst issue with it is the driver's left rear quarter panel. Looks like the paint has faded off from the good old Arizona sunshine there. It has lost it's shine there.Flat. The car has a nice set of 16 inch aftermarket rims on with a nice performance set of tires with plenty of tread left. The car is set up with slotted rotors on all 4 corners. The interior is in pretty good shape. Not much wear and tear at all. The driver's seat does have one burn hole on the bottom from some yahoo with a Marboro. The glass is good all the way around. There is a box in the rear full of parts that go with the car. Clear plexiglass covers for the headlights, repair manuals, a lot of gasket kits, brake stuff and other repair parts for down the road.. The car starts right up, everything seems to work and it is a fairly low mile car. The odometer shows 8700 or so. I would bet that it is 108,700 and not any higher. This would make a great 2nd car or a great get around town car. And a great airport car. These cars go for a long time. And are a lot of fun out on the road. And actually are not that bad in the mpg department. The 5 speed tranny helps there a lot. For the money, this would be a great car for someone.Economical to run, fun to drive, cheap to keep. Z's run forever. Usually what stops them is rust. This one is good to go for a long time. A long, long time. I can arrange reasonable shipping about anywhere, and overseas transport is no problem.
