YOU ARE BIDDING ON A GREAT DRIVER OF A 1974 DODGE CHALLENGER. I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 1999, AND HAVE PROCEEDED TO PUT ON ABOUT 500 MILES SINCE THEN. I DROVE IT ONLY ON NICE DAYS AND NEVER PUT ANYWHERE NEAR A HOSE, AND HAS BEEN KEPT IN A GARAGE SINCE DAY ONE OF MY OWNERSHIP. I PRETTY MUCH HAVE NOT DROVE THIS CAR SINCE 2003, AND HAS BEEN STARTED PERIODICALLY, BUT NOT DRIVEN.
THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY PAINTED PALE YELLOW, AS EVIDENCED BY JAMBS AND UNDER HOOD- AT SOME POINT IT APPEARS IT WAS PAINTED RED TOO, AS THERE IS SOME OVERSPRAY EVIDENCE BY THE ROOF LINE-PAINT IS "20/20"; LOOKS REAL GOOD FROM 20 FEET AWAY AT 20 MPH, BUT UPON CLOSER INSPECTION IT IS A SEMI PRO ENAMEL PAINT JOB, WITH ITS FAIR SHARE OF ORANGE PEEL AND A RUN OR TWO OR THREE, AND AS YOU CAN SEE, CHIPS AND JAMB PEELING-- THE FLOORS IN THE TRUNK HAVE HAD NEW SHEET METAL ATTACHED OVER THE OLD, NOT THE NEATEST JOB, BUT SOLID-A SET OF O.E. FLOORS WERE NOT AVAILABLE I WOULD GUESS WHEN THIS REPAIR WAS DONE. THE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR HAS HAD THE GLASS ATTACHED IN A DUBIOUS WAY; LIKE EPOXY HOLDING THE GLASS TO THE SIDE OF THE HOUSING, A LITTLE UGLY BUT FUNCTIONAL. THERE ARE SOME RUST BUBBLES IN THE WHEEL LIPS, BUT NOT BAD, SOME FILLER IS EVIDENT UNDER THE PAINT, I'M SURE THIS IS DING REPAIR--IT HAS UNKNOWN MILES, AND THERE ARE TWO LEGIBLE PICS OF THE SPEEDO---- HAS A BRAND NEW DASH COVER, BEING A FLORIDA CAR, THE ORIGINAL DASH IS CRACKED DUE TO EXPOSURE TO THE SUN.
ENGINE SIZE IS A 318. THERE IS A FENDER TAG. BUT NO BUILD SHEET. THE A.C. WORKS, BUT IS WITHOUT CHARGE-THE HEATER HOSES ARE NOT HOOKED UP, PRESUMABLY BECAUSE HEATER CORE WAS LEAKY, BUT THIS IS THE WAY I GOT THE CAR-UNDERNEATH THE CARPET, THE FLOORS ARE SOLID, THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT IS SCABBY AS USUAL BUT SOLID- STARTS AND RUNS REALLY GOOD- RUNS COOL TOO-COULD USE A NEW DECK LID AS THE SEAM IS PRETTY MUCH RUSTED AWAY (SEE PIC) AND THERE IS A SMALL "BULGE" UNDERNEATH THE VINYL TOP SEE PIC AGAIN, THIS IS TYPICAL FOR A 35 YEAR OLD VINYL TOPPED CAR-MOISTURE GETS IN AND MAKES RUST BUBBLES-IF/WHEN THE CAR IS REPAINTED, THIS CAN BE ADDRESSED--- THE BEST I CAN TELL, ALL THE SHEET METAL ON THIS CAR IS ORIGINAL, ALL PIECES SHOW EVIDENCE OF BEING YELLOW ORIGINALLY, UNDERSIDE SHOWS NO INDICATIONS OF REPAIRS, EXCEPT THE TRUNK FLOOR-REAR VALANCE HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH AFTERMARKET UNIT, AND DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY AS YOU CAN SEE-- ORIGINAL CHROME BUMPERS HAVE BEEN PAINTED BLACK- TRANSMISSION PAN HAS A SEEP, CERTAINLY FROM SITTING WITHOUT BEING DRIVEN IN SEVERAL YEARS, TRANS HAS LESS THAN 500 MILES ON IT SINCE IT WAS REBUILT-COULD USE A GASKET OR A RE-TORQUING.

new package tray , battery tray, new battery strap kit, dash cover, new leaf springs, 4 new tires, new battery cable, new pioneer cd player, new pioneer 6x9 speakers, new rear valance, new carpet, rebuilt transmission, new Torque Thrust "D" American Racing rims, new battery, new cap, rotor, plugs, and cables.
