1973 Dodge Challenger
Body: This car has recently undergone a complete restoration. The entire body was straightened, blocked multiple times and painted FJ5 Lime Light Green. The car was jambed with the trunk lid, hood, fenders, and doors off and looks professionally done. The body was very solid needing only 2 small, less than license plate sized patches in floors and received a new trunk pan. The roof, window channels, cowl, dutchman panel, and taillight panel had absolutely no rust. This car was brick solid. It received 2 Goodmark replacement fenders and front valance and the rest of the sheet metal is original to the car. NEW ITEMS: side marker lights (Mopar), door handles, fliptop gas cap, trunk/quarter trim, stripes, vinyl top, windshield, hood pins, and re-chromed bumpers.
Mechanical: This car has a 30 over, mild cammed freshly rebuilt steel crank 440 engine. It has a new dual plane aluminum intake, new Edelbrock carb, Mopar performance distributor and valve covers, Accell plug wires, Hooker super comp headers, brand new 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers (nice little rumble). The engine bay was also painted, with a new wiper motor, brake booster, master cylinder, brake lines, hoses, and callipers, fuel pump, starter, alternator, water pump, aluminum radiator, battery, engine wiring harness, coil, air cleaner, all censors, belts, hoses and fluids. The transmission was rebuilt. There is a new torque converter, shift kit, and coolant lines. The entire front suspension was rebuilt. Every joint and bushing was replaced. There are new tierod adjusters and it also received a front end alignment. The car has 245/60/15 BF Goodwrich radial TAs mounted on freshly painted 15 x 7 steel wheels. The tires, gas tank and sending unit are all brand new.
Interior: The interior also received a complete makeover with new seat covers, carpet, and headliner. The car had nice original door panels and console which have been professionally redyed to make the whole interior look like new. There is a nice SONY radio with CD player and brand new 6 x 9 speakers. There is a sport steering wheel with non-Rally gauges.
