Vehicle Description 1973 Dodge Charger with only 85,000 miles on the body. You could put this piece of automotive history in a show or drive it daily. Documentation: I found the original buildsheet under the rear seat. The vehicle has the original door, vin and two fender tags(see photos). Also included in the auction are a original 1973 Charger magazine add and dealership brochure(see photos). Engine and Transmission The strong 318 engine was built by a machine shop in Kentucky by the previous owner and Dynoed at 315 hp. It has a mild comp cam, weiland intake, Holley 650 Carb, ceramic coated Hookeer super comp headers and 2 1/4 tail pipes with flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. The engine does not leak or smoke. The vehicle does have power stearing. The transmission is a 727 Automatic Torq flight stock stall converter with a shift kit. The rebuild engine and transmission have less than 5,000 miles on them. Paint and Body The two stage show quality Hemi Orange paint and body work was done by Wilson's in Garland Texas and just completed thirty days ago. The vehicle was sanded down to the bare metal and built up with multiple coats of base, several clear coats ,color sanded and buffed to perfection. The lines on the vehicle are incredible. Doors, trunk, hood were all removed from the vehicle and painted . Even the wheel wells were given new life. The trunk coated with a quality bed liner. A trunk mat is on back order from padlock and will go to the new owner. The bumpers were re- chromed and even the lift up license plate bracket replaced. Doors close like brand new. Floor plans are great as is the under carriage. There is over 10,000 dollars invested in paint and body work alone so that this vehicle will look incredible for another 30 years. Rims and Tires New Crager S/S rims with 60 series tires. Brakes work well and rear airshocks. Interior The Front and Rear seats do not have one rip or crack they are beautiful. The rear seat is completly original and the front seat has had one pannel replaced by Bells in Plano Texas just one month ago. New carpet and dash from Padlock one month old. The cool thing is that everything works with the exception of the original AM radio. Which I hope to fix before the end of the auction. The custom "73" rear deck lid is a nice touch. The glass is all original as you can see the saftey glass and stickers(see photos) and there are no water leaks. All windows function properly. New working dome light. Original headliner has small tear but its not so bad so I left it.All the original A/C is there. The fan comes on by the switch but haven't worked on the compresor yet. Heater and defrost work. It has rear 6x9 Infinity speakers in the rear deck and is wired for an new radio if desired. I can install a CD player if buyer desires. Vehicle has passed strict inspection and emmission laws in Texas and is currently registered and licensed. I have driven this car 200 mile round trip before with no problem. It starts up strong and drives easily. If you have any questions please call Rich at 214 780-6497.
