Where do I start??
This is a exceptionally nice ol' car!! Has the flathead 6 (rated at over 20mpg!) that starts easily and runs so quietly you wonder, from time to time, if it is still running. Has the three speed manual tranny with "fluid drive"...that works like this...with engine running, engage clutch, hold brake and put car in third gear..then, slowly and fully release clutch. Now all you do is release the brake pedal and hit the gas...drive like an automatic tranny until you need reverse. And this operation is extremely smooth...again, this is a very impressive old car.
The whitewall tires are in great shape, and appear to be close to new..steering wheel is in great shape as is the dash and interior in general. Wipers and all lights work as does the blower motor and controls. Will need a new heater vent under hood to have heat in the car (one on ebay now)...
Negatives? Car has small rust spots on bottom of both front fenders (see pics)...very fixable and the only rust on the car! Paint is weak, but it is original. No bondo, has the primer showing a place or two...The headliner was replaced once upon a time ago, and the rear passenger corner is sagging just a bit. Again, should be an easy fix...the hood springs are weak, so I use a broomstick to hold hood up, when under the hood...
This car can be totally brought back with a paint job and a few hundred bucks..
