Vehicle Description
Here is a 1991 Dodge Dakota with only 71,770 miles. The truck has a 318 V8 that runs strong and starts very easily. The transmission and 4X4 work fine. The truck has a 8 foot bed with a bed liner. 2 new Goodyear rear tires. Fresh oil change. The body has some rust but is good for it's age. Now the bad, the gas guage doesn't work, the brakes lines are rusted and need replaced. The frame is cracked and needs repaired to be used daily (check pictures). The crack is about 3 inches long and ends near a bolt hole. The holes in the frame are on the bottom of the frame, a C-shaped piece of metal should be able to shore it up. The hole is about 18" long. Because of the brakes, the truck is not driveable. The truck ran and drove fine until I broke a brake line. I had the truck towed to a shop for the brakes and then they found the cracked/ rusted frame. If I had the welding skills, I would fix this truck myself, but I don't and am now cutting my ties with the truck halfheartedly.
