1966 DODGE DART 270 CONVERTIBLE!!!!
1966 DODGE DART 270 CONVERTIBLE with 6 cylinder 225. Automatic. Electric top works perfectly but the canvas definitely needs replacing. We had it running last year just to get it going again but haven't run it since. I'm certain that it will start for the person who likes to tinker. The motor ran very well and I believe still will. No rot on the floors and the body is in overall good shape. There are knicks in the paint. The wheel wells are all solid. I don't know if there was body repair but there definitely was not a wreck. This definitely an easy restore. Brakes are needed badly. I'm told that the ball joints, tie rods and bushings are new. The transmission is a "torque flight" and works fine. There are an enormous amount of extra parts which are featured in the photo's. Some of them are: an extra 225 motor that ran well, transmission, 2 extra radiators, manifolds, trim, extra chrome, starters and many things I don't know the names of. The nose has the only piece of chrome that's missing. I have an enormous amount of pictures and will be happy to provide close-ups of anything on this car. This car has spent the last 12 years stored in a dry and heated garage. It was pulled out last year for a few last joyrides and put right back until today. It has been in the family for over 20 years. Preferred method of payment is cash, cashiers check or a personal check which will need to clear. All sales final so please ask any questions prior to auction close. No title is needed on cars from Connecticut provided that they are older than 1981. A deposit of $200 is due within 48 hours of auction close. If mailing a deposit, notification of intent to do so expected within 24 hours of auction close. No additional payments will be accepted through PayPal unless the buyer agree's to an additional fee to be determined at the end of the auction. Buyer agree's that transporting of this car is their responsibility and that at this time, this vehicle is not safe for road use. The car is located in Waterford, CT. 06385 and arrangements for viewing can be accomodated provided that a reasonable notice is given. All questions will be answered as promptly as possible.
