Up for auction is this 1967 Dodge Dart 4 door 6cly with an automatic trans. It looks like it was a stripped down model with only bumper guards and Am radio as options. It is a super clean original car I purchased without a title from an estate sale in NC. I bought it to use as a parts car for a 67 Dart GT I own and, at the time, had no need for a title, however this car is too nice to use for parts and being a classic car nut I just can't destroy a good car, 4 door or not. The car doesnt run but it turns over well and likely needs the typical tune up stuff carb rebuild a car that has sit for awile needs. In addition, it looks like the tank leaks (see photo) and it will need brake work. The radiator is original and clean, the muffler and pipes look good. Tires are holding air and may get you a few thousand miles before needing replaced. There is very little rust on the car and none on the floors, deck lid, hood, battery tray, doors, trunk floor or frame. I took photos of the rust spots on the body. The small amount of rust the car has is not serious at this point but will need attention in the future to keep it from spreading. What I really wanted from this car, when I bought it for parts, is the flawless grille and headlight bezels. The interior is quite pleasant: it feels clean inside smells clean, seats have some small rips but are not falling apart. The cover on the back part of the front seat is mostly protection from the sun put there by the original owner, its not bad underneath. Dash pad is very clean with the original AM radio and very clean gauges. Carpet will need replaced. Headliner is rip free and quite nice. Trunk area is clean with the original mat, spare tire and jack. There is NO WAY for me to get a title from the original owner at this point but I can get a title from NY using a fool proof system I have used 10 times in the past 2 years without a hitch. For $150. I can get the paperwork you need IN YOUR NAME to get a title in your state. For $220. I will get a title in my name to hand to you at pickup (or I can mail it to you). Id rather not do this but I will if its the difference of you makeing a bid on this car or not. The paperwork is very simple and I can have it in 1 week. If I cant get it for some reason you dont have to buy the car and I will return your deposit. That is how certain I am it works. Make arrangements with me at the end of the auction and I will get the ball rolling. I will start the paperwork, if the high bidder wants it, for an additional $100. The rest to be paid, including the final payment for the car when the paperwork is secured. Neat old classic car, a smart buyer could really save a ton of money buying this, securing the title and fixing her up themselves. I would but I just dont have the time. I will be glad to help load the car if you pick it up yourself or hire a company. I require a deposit of $250. by paypal within 24 hours of auctions end and full payment within 10 days of auctions end by USPS money order or cash at pickup. If full payment takes longer than 10 days to arrive then I will assume we no longer have a deal and will offer the car to the second high bidder.
