This is a 1968 Dodge GTS purchased new by my uncle. Driven as a daily driver until late 70s when it was parked due to minor mechanical problems. After a while of "not getting around to it" the car was moved to the grove where it sat until about a year ago when I talked my uncle into selling it to me. The original 340 H.O. is all there but needs complete rebuild from sitting.I pulled the 340 out and dropped in a 67 318 engine that runs fine but never got it all hooked up before wife said it has to go. Car also retains its original auto tranny and rear differential. Body of car is still wearing mostly original paint with the rear quarters being the worst of the rust areas,as they will need to be replaced. Trunk floor is in average condition with some minor rust issues as are the floors in passenger compartment. Interior is in average shape with seats needing covers and headliner/carpet replacement. Original dash and steering wheel in excellent condition and dash face never cut out for aftermarket gauges or stereo install. Odometer shows just over 88k original miles! Overall a very nice rare Dodge project worthy of some attention.

Original 340 DOES come with car but needs complete rebuild. There are two carburators for this car as my uncle thought the running issues he was having was fuel related. After replaceing carb to find no change,frustration led to the car sitting. Talking with my uncle about the issues he was having makes me wonder if it was the " duel point disributor blues"?
