Up for auction is a 1938 Dodge Brothers four door humpback. This car does not run, does not have a title. To the best of my knowledge the car is complete other than two little chrome pieces that are about two inches long that go on the cowl. The interior needs to be redone, seat backs, seat springs and framework are all there. The floor in the trunk has rust holes. The floor in the rear passenger compartment seems to be solid. The floor in the front passenger compartment is soft and has been patched before. The exterior of the car is very solid with minor dents in the fenders, these dents can easily be pounded out. The hood of the car on the drivers side has a small bend in it by the hinge which would also be very easy to fix. The headlight buckets are complete and free from dents or rust as far as I can tell. The tail light housings are in good shape free from dents, lenses are in good shape. The tail light housing on the driver side has a couple of really small holes in it from some rust. The windows in the car aren't any good, discolored and or broken. All the glass is flat glass. The doors on the car are in good shape and shut very solid. All body lines line up. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. Car must be picked up by the buyer. $500 down payment due within 72 hours of end of auction. Remainder due when car is picked up. Down payment is not refundable. All payments must be made with a cashiers check. I have a very low reserve on the car. Do not ask what the reserve is because I will not respond. Any other questions are welcome.
