1960 dodge Phoenix Pioneer 4dr.
This car was purchased from an estate with a few others (check my other auctions!) and hasn’t been on the road since 1996. Slant 6 auto, p/s. odometer shows 39k miles which I was told was correct. Had original seat covers which I have removed to expose the original seats which are in excellent shape with the exception of the front insert. Dash and steering wheel is perfect as are all four door panels. Headliner is intact, but shows age, and should be replaced.
Car has rust on front fenders, as shown in pictures, but is amazingly solid all around. Car was hit on right side, damaging the rear door and quarter. Quarter is solid and fixable, and the door could be fixed, though I would replace it. There is one available in Montana for a reasonable price.
The car runs and steers well but the brakes need adjusting as it pulls to the right hard. Tires have lots of tread life, but are dry rotted and should be replaced with some radials (they look to be original bias plys!)
This is an excellent candidate for restoration. Its 99% complete and even the rubber floor mats are in great shape! Just want to see this go to a good home.
