This is a 2001 dodge neon highline. I bought it NEW in 2001 with around 3700 miles on it. There is a little under 104,000 miles on it now. Most all miles are highway miles either from driving to car shows, driving home on weekends, or driving to and from work. There is a BRAND NEW BATTERY in it that I just bought and installed on 9/5/08. There is NOTHING generic on the car at all. Everything is major name brand and is properly installed. So its not a typical Advanced Auto APC ricer neon that you see everywhere that sounds like a bumble bee with chrome trim!!! It has been in 3 magazines including Modified Car Magazine... Also included.. *not installed*... with the car is a zex nitrous kit with bottle pressure gauge, and NOS dual purge valves! The kit has only been used about 8-10 times total. All buttons and switches work perfect! Listed are some of the changes i have made to the car:
EXTERNAL:
-It is white with a red pearl in color.
-JT Autostyle Evo 3 front bumper, NRG showoff 3 side skirts and rear bumper.
-Custom tribal black and platinum window tint.
-Red 18" ADR racing wheels with 90% tread on tires.(235/35/R18).
-Aerospeed coilovers, and Freedom Design strut tower bar.
- Upgraded sway bars to.
-The hood that is on the car is a white primer carbon fiber hood, but I plan to put the stock hood back on it, which is painted to match the pearl color on rest of car. You will get BOTH" hoods!!! You can actually see the red pearl thats in the paint on the hood and car in the pictures! The stock hood is in excellent condition!
-The tail lights are flat black euros, and headlights are chrome with black bezel with crystal clear turn signals.
INTERIOR:
- NEVER SMOKED IN!!!
-Viper inspired leather SRT-4 seats.
-Custom black and red tweeded accents.
-Vents are painted white.
-5" tach with shift light.
-Dual gauges on a-pillar.
-autometer a/f ratio gauge
-autometer oil pressure gauge
-clarion cd player
-rockford fosgate 3 1/2" dash speakers
-polk audio components in front doors
-fultron ear bleeder tweeters
-chrome brake and gas pedals
*** The center console is out of the car and is at my parents house in Asheville, NC. I will be going to get it weekend of Sept. 13th.
ENGINE:
-mopar performance plug wires.
-injen CAI
-R/T ported exhaust mani
-full custom exhaust into true dual exhaust.
The car has some minor issues:
-The windshield is cracked from top to bottom. It does not leak! Pictures to come!
-The front bumper needs replaced. I hit something in the road one night.
-The front fenders, B pillars, trunk lid need to be re painted
-The head thats on the car is making a ticking noise. Originally, I thought the head needed to be replaced so I bought one with only 19,000 miles. BUT today I took it to a mechanic and was told the ticking noise is because the timing is off! It still needs to be fixed though.....I will leave it to the new owner. The car still runs and is having no other known problems other than the noise bc of the timing off. The head I bought to go on the car still comes with the car. I have no use for it! You can sell it, or do whatever you want with it.
