With a ground-up restoration, including the speedometer, I was at a loss for what to put here so I stated that the truck has not been driven more than 100 miles since the restoration. More than that I cannot say. This more I can say about my favorite labor of love: Her engine, a flat-head six purrs like a kitten in idle but roars and turns heads when you drive her down the road. She has a clear and marketable title. I did the restoration myself so any questions would be gladly answered. It has been a labor of love that, as with most restorations, take many years...in this ones case around twenty. Everything is original equipment and in good working order with a few exceptions. I have not been able to find a front bumper, a passenger wiper motor, or a rear view mirror. There is, as is obvious from the photos, no bed included with the truck...there was none when I acquired her. My plans were to make a fancy flat bed but thought that the buyer may want to go back with the original metal bed which are rather easy to find. I had a new driveshaft made, by a professional, to replace the one that was on it that was repaired by a non-professional many years before I got the truck. The frame has been welded together, quite solidly and well done I might add, sometime in the past which was probably the reason for the old repair to the driveshaft in the first place and the lack of a bed on the truck. I sandblasted each part to bare metal, epoxy-primered them, and then two coats and, in some cases, three coats of Deltron enamel paint. Sorry, but as you can see, these are not the original tires or rims either but they are kind of cool. All of the gauges and the speedometer works, it was from Arizona originally so during the sandblasting I did not see a single bit of rust, it is still on the six-volt system, and BTW, I had to replace the old battery box holder under the seat with a more substantial one. The seats have been professionally recovered too. The engine runs good and has no known problems. The exterior is in excellent condition with an amazing shine. All the trim is present and the chrome is in good shape. No cracks or breaks in the any of the glass. A very neat feature on these trucks was the crank out windshield for added ventilation...it works fine, too. All doors, windows, vent wings and latches work just fine. This car is to be sold 'as is' with no warranty.
